Lockdown looked an alright "PPV". I watched bits and pieces last night. The tag match was a bit of a dog's abortion, but those Hardy bumps were pretty intense.
Surprised that a blood feud like Young v Roode was so short and so lackadaisical.
I think they have realised they need Roode in the title picture. When you ring in Gunner to complete a face team to go up against the BDC know you are thin on top names. Hell, even Ken Anderson would have been a better choice.
Is TNA about to go under? I mean with GFW coming on board and plenty of their roster leaving including big names such as Sting, and changing their network recently, I can't help but feel that they're out of the game.
GFW have "presented" a NJPW PPV, and have a working agreement with AAA. There is no wrestlers, no TV, nothing other than Jeff Jarrett and Scott D'Amore. At the moment they aren't even a threat to an Indy promotion.
As for TNA, they have had to slim down their roster big time, and money is going to be key. Hence why Sting, Styles, Bully Ray, Chris Sabin etc have left. They still have a very good roster of talent, and guys they can better utilise. Also, unlike WWE, most of TNA's success and a significant part of their revenue is from overseas. They aren't down yet, and their audience is growing dramatically every week. It's not ideal, but they are moving forward.
