Destination America cancelling TNA already, had an outclause if things didn't work as they planned and they are going to enact it :(

Impact will continue to air until September.

Well, TNA's news has gone from bad to worse. The company that negotiated their TV deal with Destination America forgot to add a no compete clause to their contract. DA have signed another promotion as a lead-in to Impact.

Where as TNN's treatment of ECW was cruel, this is just hilarious.

The topper will be ROH drawing similar or even more ratings than Impact.

Got to feel sorry for everyone working at TNA though. They have made some dud decisions recently, but they are busting their arse to try and recover. It's not like the end of WCW where everyone just stopped giving a f**k.

No reason why this can't be good for TNA. Ring of Honor has a small but loyal audience who might now give TNA more of an opportunity. It's about a year too late given how few RoH alumni TNA now have on the books compared to the glory days.

I've been jamming on EWR recently, with the scenario being that TNA is cancelled by DA and picked up by another network. A few returns, a surprise debut or two, a minimalistic approach to its creative direction...and f**k me if it doesn't reek of NXT haha...you know what...the WWE does TNA better than TNA does TNA.

That's because the WWE realise it's better to be ROH instead of a lesser version of itself (like TNA).

Interesting.

Jeff Jarrett returns with Karen Jarret and puts himself in the King of the Mountain match. Hmmmmm.

Matt Morgan returns, and what the hell.....Vader.

The Wolves def. Dirty Heels 3 to 2 in the Best of Five Series to become the TNA World Tag Champs (this was officially Austin Aries last contracted day. I assume he is done with TNA. It will be intresting to see where he turns up, since he is the first ever 2 time champion of ROH - the lead in to TNA Impact. But they also wrestled on the taping later as a tag team, but that means nothing [see BDC])

James Storm and the Revolution now have a female member - Serena Deeb (Serena from CM Punk's Straight Edge Society)

EC3 (w. Tyrus) def Kurt Angle to become the TNA World Champion

Everyone needs a backstage spoiler

Because it is what is best for business

And nothing says best for business like...

Dirty Heels (Bobby Roode + Austin Aries) wrestling the same night as they lost the Best of 5 series vs the American Wolves - possibly a coincidence since Aries' contract finishes the night of the tapings, and their is no heel move/face move/anyting.

But then...
Bully Ray, whilst not appearing at this taping, is back with TNA full time

Add a few more to the "no longer with TNA" pile

- James Storm
- Brutus Magnus
- Austin Aries

Word is that TNA wants to work with them on a show by show basis now that they rejected new contracts, unless of course they sign elsewhere. Aries I can see getting snapped up quick by either ROH or Evolve, the other two it will be interesting to see where they end up.
