Where does Scott go then?

To the wing

1. Simmons
2. Albert
3. Nonu
4. Pomeroy
5. Scott
6. Vagana
7. Kimmorley

Hilder to practice kicking for goal, he kicked at the same percentage as Covell n e way!

Yeah, Lomu was our last "Kiwi star" wasn't he?

He was absymal.

Hopefully we have Nonu signing on the dotted line!

hahahahahahahahahaha, I wonder how long it will be until he can overtake simmons.

Not very long.
Simmons is quick, but he isn't as fast as what people make him out to be.

Frenzy.

Article mainly centred on Dykes wanting a release and his reasons or supposed reasons and how according to Brad Forrest Vagana will be the new 5/8.

Also says I quote, 'With Vangana moving closer to the ball the sharks will have a new centre combination, with exciting Penrith youngstar Ben Pomery paired with either St Helens tryscoring wiz Darren Albert, Beau Scott or Dane Nielson'

'The Sharks, WHO ARE CLOSE TO SIGNING A POLYNESIAN CENTRE-WING STAR THIS WEEK, believe former Endeavour Sports High schoolboy star Peewee Moke will also make a play for a centre spot at some stage'.

Any ideas on who this might be??

I'm not saying it isn't No'nu or the other dude - I don't know - yet

However, lesson in logic.

Does that article say Rugby Union player?

If it were either wouldn't it say Fijian or All Black or International star?

A Polynesian centre-wing star could be any nuffie that played for a Polynesian team in the world cup - IF it's a union bloke.

Could also be Wes Naiqama if he didn't end up signing with the Drags as I thought.

I wouldn't get all worked up if it were true that we signed No'nu simply because League and Union are vastly different games...

The 10 metre rule is very hard to adjust to for Union players... and they often get found out defensively...

It could however be a masterstroke if the move comes off and pays off (i.e. he scores 20+ tries next year when we win the premiership)...

if it is naiqama he would be a better option at fullback then simmons but then again a prop can be better than simmons a fullback

does this mean that raper either wants to play albert in the centers or scott on the wing

and Pomeroy being used in the centres. Another case of a player playing out of position. Its going to be Phil Bailey all over again. Supercoach thinks he is really a supercoach. Can't we just play the players in their rightful positions. Although I have no idea where Covell is supposed to play.

Hey ima I heard Pomeroy is similar to Sparkles with size and speed and he can play centre so it might just work, if he has someone with some speed out side him.

same with moke, it has and never will work, they are just to slow

imagine gasnier against them, we already know scott can handle it so leave him there

Pomeroy IS a Centre. That could be why he'll be playing there...

Booy I've seen him play a couple of times from the bench and it was as a forward and he caned it both times. He's a sledgehammer in defence. The panther forummers on here also class him as a forward.

Who knows what an entire off-season of sprinting can do to a player.

I take it you weren't a fan of Hymie in the Centres either?
