god some of you people are daft, considering you know so much about the club (or think you do). Willy said thursday's paper is already in print. Do you really think major stories are printed on thursday morning and are on your doorstep by midday...if you do it shows just how much you really know

Actually places are held for major stories & they are printed only hours prior to delivery. The Saturday SMH arrives in 2 seperate print runs. All the lifestyle stuff is flown the night before then the headlines, business & sport are printed throught the hours of the morning.
The Telegraph keeps printing & changes as stories come in & photos. The telgraph in Brisbane is quite outdated generally with its 12hour our old stories.

that's all well and good but the leader isn't a major paper. For u to get your paper on thursday, it has to be taken to your deliverers house, who then has to fold and band the thing, then drive around dozens of streets just for you to get a paper. Prior to that, the stories have to be written, edited and then printed. This does not happen in a blink of an eye. Plus many of these so called major stories are covering news over a few days, the editor already has a fair idea of what will be a major story or on the front page. You are talking of a multi million dollar corporation that delivers daily news, I'm talking of how a local paper is run. The Leader is not the only local paper that is distributed by this company on a Thursday either, if they have prior knowledge of a major story that get it organised as quickly as possible

don't believe i ever argued that there was a leak or that an article had been written on this topic, what i'm doing is supporting Willy's claim. You all jumped on his back and bagged him for saying and article for thursday's leader wouldn't have been written. What i am saying is that many articles are written before the thursday. You are all treated him like he was crazy or somethin for making this claim which could quite possibly be true. Comments about where he comes from etc (as if people from the shire are the only ones that know anything about the sharks) and makin a bit of a joke of it all isn't the way to go about things. Some of you clearly think you know just about everythiung about the club. People on here could have just said his claim was interesting and given it a bit of credit and said 'we'll wait for thursday with interest' but know some go about it in there typical 'know it all' ways
