Basically because he gets interviewed about his rep selections. Of course rep footy is a goal, of course he's gonna say he's stoked to make these squads.

If he doesn't care about the Knights, you can't tell on the field.

FTR I thought Cross' attack yesterday was quite good, made good meters and didnt look like dropping the ball.

Defense is a bit of an issue though.

I was pleased with Cross yesterday, I thought he had one of his better games while obviously underdone.

Yesterday was going to end up the way it did with the team we fielded, sure execution was horrible as well, and a general apathy compounded it, but selections were a major problem.

3 underdone props, Vuna and Uate defending together, hell Vuna in the centres is stupid enough, Karawana, the immense reshuffles.

Brian obviously had money on Canberra. Honestly, I like what the guy has done, but this was diabolical and shows how out of touch he can be at times. He's shown touches of nonsensical selections, but yesterday was something beyond the realm of sanity, I sincerely hope this isn't something that keeps going.

Spoke to him this morning.

It was tragic watching him being stranded and beat by small men.

Not his fault. The help should have been there. Three times Wicks left him out to dry and once Royal.

By some miracle he made the other tackles.

Of course, I can't say things have improved with the coach swap for us poor Parra fans, but Brian is such a great person to talk to and listen to, but you still have difficulty following the type of decisions he makes for games like Sunday's. I figured with the team you have put on the field for last 4 weeks, you had more than enough grunt to get over the top of the Raiders.

You guys closer to the team can explain how you drop White and Taufua and put in Wicks (what the ..has he done this year, he looks to have eaten half of Hunter Street) and Cross, beats me.

I think Taufua took personal leave for the birth of his child. So Cross in for him was a good swap.

Wicks in for White was a tragedy though.
