With off-field shit like this, i dont believe the NRL should kick players out of clubs...

If its bad enough, suspend them from first grade. But keep him around the club in reserves as a rehab thing. If the NRL take responcibility of making people like Todd civil and undickheadish, then the code is positioned as a great social actor.

on MMM during the NRL call this arvo, they said that the Sharkies had sacked Carney. More to come at halftime. Allegedly.

Wrong. Just wrong. Yeah, it's a disgusting picture that doesn't leave a good image for the game, but it's no worse than smashing cars with signs, nude pictures, drink driving etc. The only damage really done is to himself, even if Cronulla was his "last chance", he doesn't deserve to be sacked over this.

I think Cronulla has done the right thing and applaud them for it. But your team is a spoon contender and you've sacked your biggest talent. Can any reasonable person expect 2015 to be any better than 2014?

What a way to go though eh. Bloody hell. He will now forever be remembered as the guy who ruined his career by pissing in his own mouth. Doesn't get much weirder than that. It's up there with Hoppa in terms of stupidity and just plain weirdness.

People who think he doesn't deserve to be sacked have almost as many mental problems as he does. This is bringing the game and club into disrepute by a player who should have had his last chance about 2 chances ago. They should be applauded. If I ran a business I'd hop on board the Sharks as a way of congratulating their tough stance.

Swarzey very well said. The double standards in Rugby League are sickening.

I do not condone this behaviour one iota, but we will most likely see Blake Ferguson running out in the NRL next season.

The NRL have dropped their standards so low it is worse than society itself.

I would also like to take square aim at Greenberg, the man himself has also been embroiled in controversy no less.

How many chances do you want to give him? If it was the first time he had f**ked up it would be a small fine but he has the longest list of f**kups in the comp. It's clear he is never going to change and keeping him does a lot of damage to the club
