That info he had at the time was legit... things obviously changed. It can happen.

Blake Lazarus signed a 1 year deal with WestsTigers last monday.

But as for Jarrod Saffy i think he was supposed to sign last tuesday.



And let's not forget that Corey Payne was signed FROM THE DRAGONS the day before. And let's not forget that Saffy was offered $15K more at Dragons after WT only offered a pathetic sum for Saffy's services. ;-)

Pretty much it means the Dragons offered Saffy the minimum wage, or thereabouts. Who is a better player? Payne or Saffy? Who costs more? Payne or Saffy? I can guarantee you that a player with 50 First Grade games won't play for $55k.

Carney is one of the most talented young players in the game and the type of on field leader that we desperately need, but i can`t see how or why he`d want to play for us when he knows full and well the Raiders will give him whatever he wants and he can remain in the comfort zone of playing with his mates he grew up playing with.

And he isnt a half back, he is an outside back playing in the halves because canberra have nobody else. How the hell did you guys lose Prince?

Carney can play well at 6 or 7 so he'll command 300K+ on the open market.

Dobson is solid as well in the 7 and can steer a side around the park so picking him up instead is a great buy in my opinion.

On the Lawrence topic.. against my mob he had over 5 missed tackles in the first half.. an absolute turnstile in defense.

How long is Farah signed for? The Rorters.. I mean Roosters are always in the market for an established Hooker especially now we have Wing back.
