My mail is Carney will sign a 2 year deal with the Raiders, and as a result Dobson will be heading to the Tigers for 2008.

Sounds pretty realistic Skeepe.

Can't see Canberra not throwing big bucks at Carney to stay on for a few more years.

Besides, how would Carney get to Sydney, I wouldn't expect Ronald McDonald or Steve Noyce to fit the Taxi bill.

Big toss up for the Raiders either way. I mean Dobson has been very patchy but so has Campsese. In fact I find Campos style conflicts with Carneys

With Dobson it could make for a very interesting back line in 08

1. Hodgo
2. Lawrence
3. Morris
4. Collis
5. Tuiaki

6. Marshall
7. Dobson

Marc Herbert will, in all likelihood, be starting halfback for round 1. Not sure where that leaves Campese.

There is, of course, the other alternative: I'm completely wrong.

Smeg morris in the centres ? Based on what. He's a f**king pedestrian and would beas much of a passenger as he is at halfback. Our only hope is St Brian of Broadmeadow takes the spastic off us

Dobson is a work in progress but he has potential and a good kicking game.

We could do alot worse. I think it would be a smart move. Which means Ronald probably won't deliver.

As for Morris in the centres -- I think it could work.

You are usually right in regards to the Raiders,so I will assume you get Carney and we get Dobson.
I would much prefer the other way around, but Dobson is a better half than Morris,so it is a step forward I suppose.

How about you put your money where your mouth is?

I’ll pay for your 2008 season ticket if we sign Carney for 2008. If we don’t you pay for mine.

Good call! I can't cop people who pretend they are in the know, and know jack s**t.

Somehow I don't think the bet will be on.

I asked a Raiders player last night if the rumours about Dobson were true and he said they weren't.

No they arent as far as i was told. There's an article in todays Daily Telegraph about Carney and his future. It's still in limbo at The Raiders. A lot of things must fall in the right place for anything to go ahead with whomever he signs a contract to.

So are you saying if Carney extends we will most likely get Dobson?

But if Carney doesnt sign... what happens?
