It is clearly apparent to me that the players have obviously started having a sook in the last few weeks and this is why we have seen the lack of effort we have in the last few games.

IMO we saw improvement in the standard of play on more than one occasion this season, just not in recent weeks.

This is absolute rubbish.

Judge his coaching skills next year, with his own staff.

I'm going to contradict my own thread and agree with you.

I have never liked the potter signing as it signals to me a lack of ambition/strength. That being said the man deserves a crack without Marshall bringing the club down. After the lack of apology it seems clear he is poisonous in the locker room.

Let him finish his contract and I hope he makes it work and I am proven wrong but I doubt it.
If he has lost the players and we get done by 30 for the rest of the year the club will have no choice to act otherwise the board will be thrown over.

Yeah, let's dump Potter in favour of a even less experienced coach like Payten or Barrett.

This year would have to go down as the worst in the clubs history and has more or less been a write off since round 1. Give the man one more year to see things out and try to improve the situation before marching him. After all we gave Sheens what... 10 years?

We'll be fortunate to win a game for the remainder of the year. I believe his assistants will be chosen for him by the Board and one will take his job if he survives into the first quarter of next year.

That is not an issue for me and it shouldn't be for you, either. You need to stop being concerned with the short term.

The real judgement should be made halfway through next season, once he has some resemblance of a side he wants, without Marshall, and a coaching staff rid of incompetent bums like Georgallis and Simmons.

Payten.

Tigers & Dragons are so much alike it's not funny. It's said McGregor could be our coach when/if Price gets sacked. No.1 reason: he's played for the club.

Jobs for the boys culture makes me sick. The only real difference is Dragons give it each other jobs & pat themselves on the back for their mediocrity & say 'life is good', & Tigers give each other jobs & then stab them in the back.

About right, hopefully Mayer stops this rot and we can move out of the post Sheens era into a happier winning era.

And that is a reason not to look at options other than Potter?

I think at this point we shouldn't be looking at any other options. Potter needs some time to get things right. If you heard Benji the other day he stated he has no problem with Potter at all. If that is the case well then I assume everyone else can get along with Potter and the problem is not his people management skills but the fact that he inherited a mess.

He needs some time to get us together. I think next year will be a greater test. I'm far from expecting miracles but I am expecting smart decisions to be made. For instance if Anasta plays anywhere in the team and doesn't improve dramatically I think Potter should be moved on at the end of next year.

Sometimes I want to agree with you but then we'd just both be wrong.

Most have already put forward cases why Barrett or Payten would be ridiculously bad appointments.

Who are the other options?
