I agree, JFH is the only other option imo, he has the mana to immediately take over but regardless with those two in particular we’re well served with on field leadership

Barnett will thrive on it, I reckon it might convince him to play his career out with us, as well. He just seems like one of those guys who drives incredibly high standards and lifts with the responsibility.

Yea got a real Campo vibe about him doesnt he. Even look the same.

When Fish signed I was all for making him skip the moment he stepped off the plane, but the more Barnett had the gig the more he looked made for it.

Yeah, the same vibe as him and Luck, but a bigger body… always been regarded highly, seems to have matured and found a new level with us… above someone talked about journeymen Aussies… some are diamonds…

I'd be all good with MB getting the gig. However I suspect Fish will be the one to wear the arm band this season.

On Harris, right call honestly. He's not been at his best for a while now, and you don't want him to be playing through pain all season. What a legend of a player though, and his career shouldn't be remember on his last season or two

Just a shame he didn't call it at the end of last year. Obviously he wanted to see how surgery went. But if he called last year:
1. He could have got a proper sendoff
2. Warriors could have used the salary cap to develop squad.

I think this dents 2025 prospects. We all assumed a fit Tohu. The only thing thats positive is it opens up chances for some young players and hopefully someone can take it. MB to lock?

Have to expect that Webster had insights into this much earlier - Tohu didn't seem the sort of fella that would embrace the "me me me" of a farewell tour like Johnson or Southee.... both were a bit cringe worthy tbh

Barnett could play there, but has found a home at prop - anyway, will be interesting to see
