Disappointing loss tonight however under the circumstances i was happy with how we went.Cuthbo was very good as was greenfield who made a very important tackle on the winger which was looking dangerous in the 1st 1/2,mckinnon done well & so did marketo who i hope is resigned as he goes good.Some refs must be reading the press about us supposedly getting all the refs decisions(which is BS by the way) & it appears that they are looking very closely at us.Some dodgy decisions in the ruck i think is where they are really looking at us.Zillman & minichello walk forward to play the ball almost every time yet they are finding us not square etc.

Archer got his when he walked up the tunnel at fulltime, he copped plenty and righltly so.
Those titans are dopes and should be embarrassed they were down 8-4
Very happy with McKinnon had an awesome game and looks the goods. Also Nightingale f**king machine and saved a try just before half time.

With three more regular first graders, we would have won. It came down to level of experience.

Our squad appears to be six better than the Titans... for what's it worth.

And imo, this was a pretty good result tonight. Don't like losing but we blooded players and a few rookies got their chance to stretch out. When it comes to the back end of the season, a couple of these fellas could be the difference. Silver lining and all that...

All three of your tries in tonights game came off the back of BS penalties and the Titans were blatantly denied a fair try with a so called forward pass.

What more do you want from the referee? Are you unhappy that you didn't get more BS penalties like you usually do? Or are you unhappy that the video ref didn't award you your knock on try like they have in the past?

I look at the first half and think shit!! What happened

Saints were all over them

Good effort considering 3/4 of the team were missing.......

The result of the game meant nothing, when you look at it in the context within which it was played (God, I sounded like Fortae there).

We're in the middle of Origin and a tough spot with injuries, as Willow said, some kids got match practice and no-one really thought we weren't going to drop another game all season.

You watch the boys come out and beat Brisbane next week and everyone will be calling us unbeatable again. It was always going to be tougher in the second half. Concentrating for the full 80 minutes of a first grade match is something that has to be learned and the new boys got there first taste of it last night. Think of it as invaluable experience. On another note Cuthbertson was outstanding!

For the record I support the Bulldogs. (I can already predict what your response will be to this).

All you can do is gloat about your referee-assisted success, and bag out teams that are going through a tough time. Then you bag out the referee, even though many decisions went your way.

You are an ungracious winner and a sore loser.

Oh come on guys!! Its rep reason seriously. Stolen 9 players out of our team including two injuries. I think that what affected us. Young players doesn't always win from their first season game or related.

However last night game is very good as in equivalent to win a grand final 5 years later out of these same players tonight! No one played bad.

So NRL need to rewrap around about the rep season affecting the our original games seriously. Im sick of injuries. These players are so tired and i'm sure they wanted the season to be over!

last nights game had many similarities to the raiders game at the Gong last year (except for the hunt injury thank god)

Understrength side leading against all odds early in the second half only to concede 3 quick tries.

Hopefully the history of 2010 repeats in 2011

It's quite simple.... we butchered a certain try before half time which should have kicked us clear to 14-4. Titans would not have come back. Then again after half time we butchered another when Nighty passed the ball over the sideline.

That would have made it at least 18-4.

Game over.

No big deal...

I thought the ref was poor for both teams tbh

One thing I was disapointed in was the lack of support shown to Reece Simmonds when he got pushed outover the sidelinewith the ball.He was already feeling bad about the dropped ball that led to the try and scott prince targeting him with high balls so the team should have helped him feel better.

Pretty sure Hornby was covering for him as best as he could. But he can't be everywhere. Simmonds gave it his best.
