Is Gibb's calf injury the same leg he hurt not long ago? A couple of minor injuries aint the end of the world with two weeks to recover before the season starts.

If he misses a couple of weeks, so be it. It's a long season & props need a rest at some stage (unless your Luke Douglas).

We are notorious for dying in the arse late in the year, so having a few fresher players in the latter stages would be handy,

We really have to manage our fatigue this year if we are to be serious contenders. The best way to do that is change our style & actually give the backs some earlier ball, instead of our forwards getting bashed every week. Although they seem to handle that reasonably well, it definitely takes it's toll.

Hopefully with Ryan, J Wright & Gordon there, we will do it.

how long was elkin at the club?

for example. when we lost 10 games in 06 before ricky came we had quite a good team.

i think we were 3rd at one point. then 10 in a f**kn row.

It'd be ok if we weren't so skinny in the props.

Gibbs.
Ross.
Fifita.
Taufua.
Taga.
Jon Green.

Without Gibbs and Fifita There's a hell of a lot of interchangeable, kinda average trundlers there.

Gallen? The kid, Coates?

Has there been any other trundlers brought in for NSW Cup. I remember someone posted a possible NSW Cup team a few weeks back and thinking geez, a lot of people are happy with our depth but we are really light on props.

As trundlers go I don't mind Green though. Did a good job in 2010 with Bennett's Dragqueens

So that would be from the start of Stuart Raper's term.
Anderson would have taken all his staff with him &/or the board got rid of anyone associated with him.

That'd be right PP.

I think he was nearly punted a couple of times too but having to make payouts prevented it. The club was already relling from paying out coaches.

Rodney Coates as well , although I think he's a year of reggies off playing 1st grade. I thought Taufua was one of the better forwards towards the end of last year.

& Gal has talked about playing up the middle which might mean they only go with 3 specialist props + 5 back rowers & 2 hookers.

Isnt there also, a new young bloke we landed from Manly with a few FG games under his belt?
Or is he not a prop?

Is the arrangement with Melbourne still happening with the NSW Cup this year ?
