Yeah, still have the Storks thing happening AFAIK.

That accounts for depth in NSW Cup at least. I think. Maybe............

I think it helps with the younger players coming through to have a bit of class around them , where a good part of the team have played 1st grade.

& it obviously saves money , not having to have 2nd tier players on contract or at least players who are not in their plans.

Gards looked really good and so much faster than anybody else out there.
He looked to be coasting for the line break leading to the degois try but he was still pulling away easily.

Speaking of trundlers a few post back.

We had a trundler in our midst a few years back. His name was Brian Norrie.

Wonder what ever happened to him.

Highlights that we probably don't 'need' top line props. Look at Norrie at the storm. (Ryles was crap in that WCC game I thought.)

Agree. Gave numerous penalties away.

Met Junior Moors last year , good bloke. Probably come on leaps and bounds under Bellamy. Good move for Junior given Bellamy's track record.

Norrie was below a trundler with us. Must be Bellamy influence. Nearly all players we let go havent kicked on. Even Greg Bird no better than he was with us. Galloway overrated I think. Presto the exception. Although he won Dally M with us. Dane Neilson another who improved under Bellamy.

Yeah we haven't had too many trundlers in the past that have done the job for us. Thought Craig Stapleton was good value - Tim Maddison maybe - The Ox (not that little Manly gobshyte) was the ultimate trundler. Saw a late 80's game recently, f**k he worked hard for a big slow guy.

Stapleton was good value. I think Tafua and Green should be the same if we need them.
