Jared Warea Hargreaves has taken that prize but your right....The eagles don't lose many of their star players and when they release a player it's because they have someone better coming through.

DCE was a perfect example
Dean Whare aswell.

Lussick's been ok this year too. Probably hasn't kicked on like some would have expected.

Hodkinson had a good year, overall, too.

And to think with Bani, we traded up massively to a bloke that hasn't had a run in the top grade for 2 years. If he stayed, Bani would be struggling to get a run in our struggling NSW cup side.

Lussick has been a dissapointment this season, starting from the bench in quite a few games plus his on big money.Should be able to stand out in a side that is running last.

Hodkinson is slow and limited in ability.

JWH is prop of the year IMO

By all reports, until recently JWH never wanted to leave and wanted to come back to Manly but the money the Roosters offered were too good to turn down. I think things have changed in recent times, being a forward leader in a side doing well will do that.

If Dave Taylor and Tony Williams had the heart and determination of someone like Dallas Johnson they would be better than SBW. Hell Preston Campbell had more heart and mongrel than these two.

What ever offloading skills Taylor and Williams had, turning them into a Johnson clone would render them ball hogs.

FFS even Cowboys supporters nickname him Araldite Hands!

I'm not sure why She-Rex didn't just look across the field at Joe G to see what players with a bit of heart do. Joe didn't have the size or the strength of She-Rex but he had a massive heart and gave it everything every time he touched the ball. She-Rex would be near unstoppable if he put in close to the same amount of effort.

I think Lussick was one of our best this year.

That dickhead Stuart kept changing his role within the team, so it was hard for Lussick to play consistently. But I felt he was easily one of our best forwards all year. Tried his arse off, made 100 metres regularly and hit with some sting in defence. Big fan of his.

He's a giant marshmellow. It's hilarious all the Bulldogs fans were preaching "it's okay, Des will get the best out of him". He was even worse this year than he was the year prior.

By far the worst buy after the bidding war that went on for him and all the hype around him. His team was better off without him than when he was on the field. There isn't a single positive in his game.

Isn't it funny. The Dogs end up with the most hibernated players in the league in Williams and Pritchard.

The Dogs should send in the supporters packs an alarm clock so they can set it to when those two wake up as they'll have a better idea than the coach.

Those two on their day, working in tandem can create more havoc than any other forward pairing, absolutely destructive...when...is the question.
