Matthew Pavlich is some chance to move up a rung or two depending on how he goes in the game currently underway.

Reiwoldt could enter the chart as early as next week.

Franklin would also be expected to enter over the coming weeks.

Right on cue, Pavlich produces another six goal BOG performance to ease past Milne and O'Loughlin.

Nick Reiwoldt is probably done for the year, but he has entered the top 50. Could be knocked out again, depending on what Franklin can do in his remaining games.

Pavlich to move into the top 40 this week.

depends on how Buddy is feeling

if you believe the media he has a knee, thigh, hamstring, back and a broken nail

then there is the flu and some other virus

^^^

Given that the contemporary AFL media, in equal parts, are fixated on playing to the Big Footy crowd and pinching their 'stories' from Big Footy, then none of that is at all surprising.

Of course, the Australian media overall is, by and large, an embarrassment, so we shouldn't expect the AFL component of it to be brilliant.

Hawk affiliates watching the track haven't been stunned to not see Franklin playing, as his training form has been consistent with a player carrying a leg injury. He did train okay last week though, and was expected to front against the Suns. On Sunday morning (well before the club announcement) a Hawk tragic relayed that he had received a text from a nurse friend saying that she had "spent the night with a good Buddy who had a bad case of gastro".

Nothing that sensational really, but that doesn't run well with the Hun.

gotta sell those chip wrappers and Buddy gets just as much press when he's not playing as when he is playing

Quite extraordinary.

5 current days players all with 570 or over and only separated by 13 goals.

That's it for Milne of course, with Brown also weighing-up his future.

Will make the top 30 if he stays on, as will the other three, injury notwithstanding.

Hard to see anyone getting anywhere near the top 5 though.

The era of the dominating full forward kicking 10+ goals like Ablett and Lockett appear over.

You only need to look at the numbers of goals the Coleman Medalists have won with over the last couple of years.

Lockett, Ablett and Dunstall regularly got 100+ goals a season.

From looking at other players playing his role, Lance has a maximum of five years left in him and I expect he'll play around another 90 games (injuries permitting).

At his recent rate of scoring, that should be enough to sneak him into the top ten, and 7th will be possible if he can get to a goal a quarter average.

And the 'Lord of the Lance' is really getting toward the rarified air now. Injury notwithstanding, he will push pass 700 and into the alltime top twenty in 2015.

A shame that brown couldn't get the 600 up.

Riewoldt & Pavlich are some chance of getting to 700 in 2015, but both will have to have exceptional seasons.

Brent Harvey & Jarryd Roughead are also good shows of joining the 500 club in 2015.

And Pavlich finishes the year in 23rd spot, but will need a big effort (at least 53 goals) in his final season to make the top twenty.

Franklin could enter the top twenty in round 1 next season, only needing two more to achieve that feat.

Reiwoldt can't make the top twenty next season and would need a strong year (52 goals) to join the 700 club.

Jarryd Roughead and Brent Harvey appear the only players capable of making the top 50 next season, needing 34 and 43 goals respectively.
