My issue with TW is that IMO Lamport stadium should not be allowed into SL. The time difference is too great also. I'd have it at 6 hours not 5, we should be 1 hour forward, ridiculous that Dover is 1 hour behind Brest. And Cardiff is in the same country as Leeds.

But Toronto is in the 21st century, Leeds the 19th and Cardiff the stone age.

Criteria released for the 12th team:

Must have been in SL in 2018/19 or in the top 6 of Championship during 2018/19 as well

So, that gives a pool of:

Widnes
London
Toulouse
Halifax
Featherstone
Leigh
York City
Bradford

Pros and cons for all 8 imo

SL could have tried to flex their muscle and gone for 14 teams.

Leigh have been there twice and could not hack it.Without their full share of Sky money they have no chance.

I agree the current London model is fraught with problems in regards to fan appeal and stadium quality but we know the SL loves the idea of having a London club in it.

I do think it will come down to the strongest business case between those two clubs with the Bulls an outlier of they can quickly find a rich backer. I'm sure no-one would argue that the Bulls in early SL weren't a real boom for the game, and if there was anyway of getting that back it would be massive for SL.

Dividing the money between more teams is hardly a clever idea at the moment.
