Several championship clubs telling fans not to book transport to Toronto as home ground. Or yet confirmed.
Wild Facebook rumours they are looking at playing some home games in Bradford.
On the TW Facebook page they have come out to rubbish those rumours and also confirmed all home games will be in Canada.

heard that too hope this Bradford rumour is not true!
Honestly what are the sources for these rumours and why do people think they have any merit behind them? We've been more successful on and off the field in our first year in a market that knew next to nothing about the game and now for some reason were going to play out of Odsal? Also heard M62 foil hat thinking of us folding up in Canada and becoming a Manchester team, Perez was taking all his money out of the team and distancing himself (it's Argyles money) and that all the players (new signings and old) want out of their contracts.

I wonder what the difference is. I thought the CF fields had similar dimentions to a rugby field
They do but they're slightly different. A CFL field is 110 yards (100 metres) long and 65 yards (59.4 metres) wide and the goal areas are normally 20 yards deep. BMO Field couldn't accomodate the latter, so the goal areas there are 16 or 17 yards deep judging by pictures of CFL matches played there.

Their Halifax home game is to be played in England after all.

Halifax RLFC can confirm that our Away Game with Toronto Wolfpack will not take place in Canada as scheduled.

We are currently in discussions with the RFL and Toronto to come up with a solution within England.

We appreciate that this may come as a disappointment to some Fax Fans who were excited about the prospect of a trip across the Atlantic but this has not been our decision to make.
We will update you as soon as the alternative is clarified. The club will be making no further comment at this time.

Thank you for your understanding.

With this and the previous rumours I would imagine it’s going to be played at Bradford.

Should have played it in Canada. Could have passed as a local derby and told the fans it's the Nova Scotia Halifax.

If they get drawn at home in the Challenge Cup aren't their games played at the stadium next to the Etihad?

They probably thought they were above getting sacked from a 2nd division side. Good on Toronto for taking no shit if that is the true story here.

Their will.be a multitude of players hitting up agents to get some of the Wolfpack action! They are well known in Australia by the domestic footballers. It will be interesting who they will recruit.

Good result in the long run. They'll have plenty of money to spend and quota spaces. There will be some mid-season signings no doubt.

Oh and it's actually kinda good to see Australian mainstream media talking about a pro Canadian RL team, even if it's for the wrong reasons. It will open a few eyes that normally don't see beyond the end of a nose.
