Maybe this isn't so bad that Capello has quit now. Surely Redknapp wont quit now, and you'd have to think England will want to appoint someone in the next week or so.

Hopefully they give it to someone else now, they do well and then Redknapp doesn't get a look in.

Only problem is, England wont do well because they suck

I doubt it's a coincidence that Fabio 'quit' on the day Harry is absolved.
Either the FA know something we don't regarding Harry or they have someone else set for the job, they wouldn't sack Capello this far out from the Euros unless they had a replacement set in stone.
It's a bad move either way, disrupting the squad even more, and the new manager will have little time to get used to the squad.
Good point hellteam, Redknapp wouldn't leave us mid-season for any job.

And yes, cheers all around for Harry being cleared of all charges!

from what I've heard they may ask Harry to be caretaker till the end of the season, which is really not much different, I doubt he would be interested in anything short term

I also know that H was very keen about a year ago, and the better Spurs go the less he wants to leave, he sees Spurs as a long term project and he really doesn't know what he wants to do atm

They'll go with Stuart Pearce I reckon. Current assistant coach, knows the players etc etc. Although I am panicking a bit here

Saha with a double on his first start, Assou-Ekotto, Adebayor and Bale also scoring?
5-0 over Newcastle to be the most goals we've scored in a game this season and our biggest win of the season, all against a top six team!?
I woke up after managing to stay up till 4am, saw your post Twiz and was in shock.
Along with Barcelona losing, this is probably the best news I've woken up to in a while.

I'll match report later.

Oh, and Adebayor with four assists? Yes please.

the fans showed some amazing support for Harry, great to see

also good to see Ade earn his wages, probably a good idea not to sign him up in January as now he's got to prove himself between now and the end of the season, still not his biggest fan but this was a step in the right direction

A rumour is going wild on the Internet right now; a source at French Football says that Eden Hazard has agreed to terms with Spurs.
Now, I do recall seeing Hazard mentioned a lot as a potential signing for next season, but surely this can't be true?
Most people seem to think we are his preferred club though; he's changed his tune, previously he wanted to play for Real Madrid.
If we pulled this off....Hazard and Bale as our wingers? No team in the EPL could defend that well, and few in the world would be able to handle it.
Still, the odds are hugely stacked against us. We've seen this kind of story a lot recently, with few returns.

Oh, and according to a lot of people who actually know their stuff, the source and the website are pretty reliable, with the former deemed as good ITK.

its more than a rumour

FF News: Eager to join the Premier League at the end of the season, Eden Hazard has set his sights on Tottenham. Reportedly, the Belgian international has 21 years of age agreed with the London club, which meets their aspirations, since it probably will participate in the next Champions League.

As he wished to have game time and not be drowned in an overstaffing, the prodigy Lille chose the Spurs to Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea, all candidates for transfer to the spring. It remains now to the two clubs to agree on the amount of the transaction.

If the player has, since his last contract extension, a release clause at 40 million euros, the transfer will most likely be the subject of intense negotiations. Until everything is officially settled, other clubs may therefore try to reverse the trend. In the image of MU, who was with Tottenham the club most insistent in recent days ... (Photo-Press Sports)

Do you think it will happen?
Interestingly, Hazard himself commented on the story, saying it could be Tottenham and that they have great players.
