We're being bankrolled by Joe Lewis who owns Nike, he has been our major share holder for ages.

He gets his money back when Bale goes whether its now or in a a year or two so its FFP compliant.

This is pretty jizz worthy too

If you dont have a translator it says we have agreed to terms with Roma for Erik Lamela

Owns Nike? He bought into the company?

No guarantee the money will be there for Bale in a year or two. One bad or even average season and his price will probably half.

I agree its a gamble and what makes it even more of a gamble is that no one else is driving his price up. If RM interest drops off, no one else would pay half of what we are asking.

The clubs official stance is that he is not for sale unless the 100 million (pounds) valuation is met and as of now there is still no offer.

Personally I would jump on it as we could buy 4 Gareth Bales with that sort of money. No one is worth 100 mill imo.

Townsend very impressive this morning, yes the opposition may of been poor but he still showed good pace and delivery

and we are trying to sell him, go figure although that may have changed after this morning

we need to be careful as we'll have no poms left soon

didn't watch the game as I don't get Setanta any more but from all reports he was MOM

Wilian's agent being a bitch, stormed out of the signing session at WHL because we wouldn't pay him a sign on bonus so he went out and got on the phone to anyone who would listen to him and he's trying to shop Wilian around to everyone and anyone yet some documents were already signed so we are told to expect a delay

No way in the world would I sell Townsend. It was a mistake loaning him out last season and it will be a mistake if we do it again.

I think that performance this morning will ensure that he's around this season. Some of his runs and goals/assists were very Bale-like. Obviously it was against poor opposition but still

Re: Willain, I'm not too fussed to be honest. If not signing Willian means we have a bit more chance of keeping Bale I'm all for it. Go Chelsea!

The Bale deal is stalled atm and as for Andreus, its either him or Lennon. No point in having 3 vying for the one spot, the 3rd being Wilian.

Lennon is Levy's pet btw.

The Wilian deal could be off due to Chel$ki's offer even though we got his work permit and had his medical done.

Apparently his agent is in some shit over this. He still hasn't signed for anyone just yet but Chel$ki's bid of €40 million is way above ours and they have offered him ridiculous wages. He wants to come to Spurs but we will not match Chel$ki's offer.

He sounds like a nasty piece of work. There is talk of his license being revoked after this.

Apparently Wilian is meeting with AVB to try and rescue the deal but we will not increase our offer.

If his licence wasn't revoked after the Teves/Mascherano debacle or the dodgy deal that took Ramires to Benfica I doubt this will change things.

3 nil up in the second half against Dynamo Tblilsi, the aggregate is 8 zip so far.

Haven't conceded a goal in 4 games so far this season and Lewis Holtby is completely controlling the game although the opposition is pretty average. He really is going to give Eriksen some competition for the no 10 spot.
