we've got enough creativity, we're just too compact

Eriksen is back in about 2 weeks, it wasn't as bad as first thought

I'd like to see Lamela at 10, he is really looking the goods

Just move on from this game and just look into the future. Tottenham have the potential to give a real hard go at winning the comp but just not finding the balance. If they find their balance then they will be a good team.

This ridiculously high line that we play has backfired on us against teams like Newcastle and the Spammers. We play so high that most of the team are in the opponents half and when you have centreback as slow as Dawson you will get beaten on the counter more often than not and that has happened but AVB is way too pig headed to change his ways.

As much as you laugh about his short tenure at Chelsea this was the reason he was given the flick. He loves the high line and insists on it even when he doesn't have the personnel to pull it off. He tried to use it with Terry who is about as quick as Dawson both are decent defenders who are made to look out of position when playing so far up against fast breaking teams.

He did shift from it at one stage and it seemed to be working, then he changed back and the first leg against Napoli happened. I understand he has his philosophy and it worked at Porto, but he needs a plan B especially against a team like City.

Mourinho: 'It's better to lose one game 6-0 than lose six games 1-0. Spurs can still be title contenders.'
