You might want to stop playing FIFA 13 and watch those players in real life. Because Paulinho was so mediocre in Confeds, and Dembele just didn't happen to be our main build up player at all last season. And as much as he's billed as a "defensive midfielder", you should have seen Sandro at the start of last season. So lacking in creativity indeed.

By the way, you do know we have both Holtby and Sigurrdson?

Yay, Paulinho, played well at home in the national team, and everytime i seen tiny tots play, i saw bale carry the team time and time again.

Holtby is ok and Sig is a mid table player at best.

Paulinho who was key to Corinthians winning both their local league and the Copa Libertadores in 2011 and 2012 respectively. Paulinho who impressed against England and scored the tying goal. Paulinho who many critics rate both as the real heart of the Brazilian midfield, and their actual best hopes for winning the World Cup. Paulinho who finished the Confederations Cup as the official third best player of the tournament.

Good lord are you thick. As for Bale carrying the team, I don't see Bale making all of the chances. I see Bale scoring all of the chances. There is a difference. If you, you know, watched us you would realize that the reason Bale "carried" us was that not only were we cruelled by injuries to both our midfield and defence throughout the season, but not one of our forwards was on form. If we manage to get either a current striker in form or a decent new one, relying on Bale for goals will be a thing of the past.

Holtby is ok? Sigurrdson is a mid table player at best? Holtby showed early on he is going to improve a lot, and Sigurrdson was fantastic in the latter part of the season. You are going to have to fish for better bait.

Go and play some more FIFA. You might actually know what you are talking about then.

So In the end Paulinho has proven he can play in BRAZIL. Its a shame hes moving to London then, holtby shows potential, but in the end hes only ok atm, and sig was instrumental in achieving EL for Tiny Tots instead of CL. So in the end i would be happy for Tottenham to play that team, wont get close to Chelsea, Man City or Man UTD.

Sure, but everyone raves about Neymar just the same. The difference between players like Neymar and Robinho to Sandro and Paulinho is that the latter two are already physically dominant players. The former two are much more heavily skill reliant, and those types tend to have the more difficult transitions into Europe. So colour me impressed that we paid 17 million pounds for a player that is incredibly likely to do well here as opposed to the 30 plus million pounds paid by ManCity for an arguably inferior European player.

Yes, because Arsenal were so far ahead of Tottenham the past two seasons. How many points separated the two clubs again? The only reason we didn't play in the UCL last year was because Harry choked us, and this year it was not only injuries but a lack of any form strikers. Refer to us as "Tiny Tots" all you want, it doesn't change the fact that we are breathing down your neck and have been for some time. Your comments go to prove that you don't watch any of our games and thus you don't know jack sh*t about any of these players, so do everyone here a favour and either watch our games or shut up.

Neither will Arsenal, so what difference does it make? Oh wait, you have Gotze and Cavani on the line, what was I thinking?

Too much FIFA 13 lately? How's Gareth Bale rated on that?

I was for of a PES player actually, we had to make 4th with Giroud and Gervinho.... Ade hit 30 in a season at arsenal, in the end Tots should be happy that Bale is one Loyal man.

And the theres a reason i left arsenal out of that list, unless we spend this summer, we could be in massive trouble, Wenger gone to PSG for the 2014 season and beyond, id be happy too see the back of him a season earlier.

Fair enough. Trust me, Giroud and Gervinho craps all over an out of form Adebayor/Defoe/Dempsey.....
To be honest, if we sold Bale it would be for 60-80 million. Levy is not the kind of man to budge if he sets a ridiculous value like that.

That's a start. Higuain will help.

We wont get Hig, they want 26 mill now, hes even back in training with Madrid.

We signed our Striker for the season in Sanogo, now for a cheap midfielder, then we will attempted our 4th place trophy campaign

he's gone, Harry is his biggest fan and made him an offer which is more than we paid for him but Parker doesn't want to go to the championship

we got about 3 clubs chasing him and we will sell

gotta hand it to Dan Levy, Bale's contract has recently been upgraded although its not on the OS just yet, but he's been upgraded to about 130K a week and extended it till about 2017 and the beauty of it is, that we pay f**k all of teh upgrade

Bale is now the face of the EPL in a deal allegedly done with British Television and is also the face of the EPL in America

http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/4160...-square?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter

its basically a 3rd party deal and obviously only applies while he stays in the premier league, so if he goes to Spain he forfeits the deal and he wont play for another premier league team

nice work Dan

then after selling Gionavi Dos Santos for jack shit to Mallorca, they have on sold him to Villareal from which we get 3.5 mill sell on which is 50% of his trensfer fee

http://www.spurs-web.com/spurs-news/giovani-dos-santos-spurs-3-5m-sell-on/

once again, nice work

Really annoyed that we missed out on Benteke, he was easily the best option available for the price. Now we are probably going to have pay more or at least close to Benteke's value for someone like Leandro who is both unproven in England and arguably less likely to fit our team style. Cheers Levy

just on Chadli, I have never seen him

alot of fans over the moon about the signing and we only paid 8mill so apparently this is a bargain, then again some fans can be a bit bias so I guess we'll have to wait and see how he goes

we weren't really that interested in him as the valuation of 28mill is a bit much for a one season wonder

we haven't missed out btw if we decide to go back in as he signed an upgrade but has a buyout clause, we can do much better for much cheaper unless they decide to drop his price imo

meanwhile we have signed an AM

http://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/news/chadli-deal-agreed-210713/

28 million?? I thought it was closer to 20. My bad. Yeah, that's probably far too much. I'm interested to see what other targets we have lined up, because striker was easily our weakest position last season. Defoe, Adebayor and Dempsey simply did not cut it at all, aside from Defoe's early season.

we have had offers for Dempsey and he could be off which is fine by me

Chadli is a winger and will rotate with Bale, Lennon and Siggy.

I believe we will still chase a striker, wide attacker and a left back

and just on other targets, info is very hard to come by, I heard we looked over Chandli about 2 weeks back and we agreed on a deal but we were going to sit on it for a while pending other deals (outgoings) so like you said Dempsey could be off or my guess would be Townsend

From what I've seen and read of Chadli he could very well end up playing as a front man, or behind the main striker. It really depends on where Bale ends up though.
