That's good to hear if it does indeed happen, thanks mate.
I wonder who it it might be though?
Might be that rumoured Lassana Diarra loan deal?

he is one of a few, they are keeping it very quiet atm

Harry cancelled a media appearance last night due to "transfer widow activity" and he was locked away with Levy and board

we may not know, if in fact we did sign some one, till tomorrow morning our time

we have players going out including gio and nikko (unfortunately)

what a merry go round it is, waiting on players to be replaced before we can finalise negotiations with other clubs

from what I can gather, Citeh did us a huge favour last night, huge (Ade to RM)

I guess all will be revealed soon, I just hope some of the rumours regarding our activity are near the money

Thanks for the news Twizz, do you have any idea who it might be?
If you do but can't say the name, is it alright if you can give us an idea of how good a signing this is? Thanks :)

I saw in one of your posts from yesterday that ManCity did us a big favour by leasing out Adebayor to Real Madrid....I am wondering is it possibly one of Madrid's two main strikers?

yeh, the one that Jose doesn't rate but he's a target man and he's young so he is a perfect fit as far as fitting in goes and the type of "investment" that suits Levy, and hopefully we can get the best out of him assuming its confirmed

we got first call on any of RM's discards which is how we picked up VDV, problem is this "deal" has to work both ways and it may cost us Bale in the long term

still a few other deals on the table, I think we are looking at about 3 in but its costing us with about 5 or 6 out but should improve the squad considerably

you're right it was in the British Press, more reason to ignore all press releases over there

Yeah, it would definitely improve our squad....I had a hunch that KB was on the outer at Madrid, and what do you know. Having a player like him up front for us would be awesome, he definitely fits the bill we need and I eagerly hope we do sign him. It is good about the relationship between us and Madrid, but yeah it could backfire with Bale. I guess though that we just have to take this as it goes; we need a striker badly, and if we have to lose one of our stars for it at a later time then so be it I guess.

I'm still extremely skeptical that we'll get any good signings, but here's hoping!

Hey mate, yeah here's hoping :) Trust me if we pull this one off, which seems a possibility at this stage, our striker issues are fixed. Forget Suarez or Fabiano, this KB guy from Madrid is not only a great striker but a very young player as well.

Anyway I highly doubt he leaves Real. Jose has said numerous times that they're struggling for strikers and looking to bring one in, why would he give up another one. Not to metnion he scored a great goal last night vs. Sevilla.

They just got Adebeyor and looking to also bring in Llorente as well. They also gave KB permission to speak to Spurs, indicating they are willing to let him go.

Jose just apparently doesn't rate him.

It's because Adebayor is on loan there, and from what they have said they will probably buy him. As it sounds like we were securing a loan deal for Diarra and we already took VDV off their hands, it would be no surprise if they shopped Benzema to us considering Mourinho doesn't rate him and he hasn't kicked on there either.

So ah, wonder if Real will offload Mourinho to us when Harry becomes England manager...

Unfortunately though, I don't think they will give up the best coach in the world, considering he really is their only hope at the moment of beating Barcelona.
