I dont think Pav is that great. I thought he flattered to deceive in the euros, and have a feeling he might be one of these guys who comes to the premiership on the back of a euro or world cup and flops. He is also cup tied when it comes to the UEFA Cup.

Frazier Campbell might be a decent loan...but with the cumbersome Darren Bent you are still looking sparse up front.

Spurs, spurs, spurs. Again you talk big over the summer, and again, for all the money spent you seem to be one signing short of what you really need to achieve your goals. Actually, in some respects, despite adding some genuine class in the midfield (which is what you've been needing the most of recent times) you might even have gone backwards, with a very light strikeforce, and probably in need of a defensive midfielder as well.

If you'd added names like Veloso, Arshavin, Villa (but very glad you didn't), you'd be stronger than Liverpool, but as it is I think top four is looking very unlikely now.

No one is ever going to get into the top 4. We bought Berbatov a few years ago when hardly anyone knew him, and now he's a star. And what do star players want to do. Play for a top 4 team. Happens everywhere. It's just a cycle and I don't know how anyone is going to break it really.

Tell that to Robinho

yeah I agree

for all his big spender talk, all Levy has done is line his pocket

50mill for 2 strikers plus another 25mill in rejects, he's made a huge profit this summer

He backed himself into a corner.

All the talk about wanting to leave, there was no way he could pull on a real shirt, so when Man City's offer was accepted he really didnt have a choice...

Fair point, must be a bit of a come down for someone of the quality of Robinho to go to a club like Man City (no offense to City fans). The money can't hurt tho, if reports are correct that he's going to get something like 6 million Euro's per year, after tax.

Giovanni and Modric play a beautifully crafted one, two. In and out the defence. Gio takes on the DM, playd the ball wide to Bentley, Bentley runs to the bi-line, cuts the ball in to Modric, Modric hits it across the face of goal, Bent is there, it only needs a touch...and oh my Bent has put it over!

Huddelstone will be a good DM for you guys in a couple of years, nuture him this year.

in a fully fit line up, Corluka will play DM, as Hutton is our right full back

he was purchased as a utility defensive player according to Ramos

It has been revealed that the Huntelaar rumours were true and he was on his way, all had agreed to terms, even the players were told he was joining spurs.

His agent f**ked it up at the last minute and it was too late to fix it.

Maybe January, who knows ?
