YES! We did it, hopefully now we can bring a player or two in.

Bale, again outstanding, last year we were considering loaning him out to Notts Forest or something

Hope we can stay at the top so he doesn't piss off to Chelsea or somethin

We had some pretty huge offers for Bale this transfer window, he had 2 years to go on his contract and Levy extend him by another 4

I reckon after only 3 games already this year his value has increased significantly again

We can expect some pretty big signings over the next week or so.

How can you blame Defoe, the refs should have picked it up. He wasn't the one that made the call.

He knew it came off his arm, after he scored he turned and looked straight at the ref waiting for the call. I dont think he could believe it wasn't called.

Thats football.

I blame him because it was deliberate, the same way I blame Henry for his.

I suppose Eduardos dive last season was ok, because the refs shouldve picked it up?

Thats football cheating.

I don't blame players for playing on after a handball. I didn't blame Henry, I don't care.

I hated it when Gilchrist walked at cricket. Have you ever seen anyone go up to a referee in rugby league and go "oh sorry mate that pass I threw back there was forward".

The answer is no. If the refs miss it, well that's their problem. Get a video ref if people are so annoyed by it.

Do you ever see League players go up to the ref and say I was offside ?

I didn't think it was that blatant, he was trying to block the opponents run at the ball with his arm as they do, then it hit his arm.

I'm not saying it wasn't intentional but didn't look too blatant to me, then again I could be a bit bias.

So you think diving by players is alright as well? If the refs miss it, its their problem? Ridiculous reasoning.

Let me clarify that I have no problem with players playing on after an accidental hand ball. Buyt when player deliberately use their hands to gain an advantage and play on it's cheating, no two ways about it.

Haha this possibly the 2nd hardest group, we drew the defending champions Inter Milan, Wreder Bremen and the highest ranked team in pot 4 FC Twente
