It looks fine to me. But, what are all those banned trainers doing on the field?

Just because no one has mentioned it ... Under the new rule where you can't tackle the attacking player in the air would it be considered a penalty or penalty try this year?

Mainly because he landed once he caught the ball and then jumped for the corner.

But just on the rule, not sure what they would do in that instance. Maybe no try, penalty.

This is probably a rule where the referees will once again get confused and cause more controversy.

And there are actually idiots (Phil Gould, Andrew Johns) who genuinely think the game would be better off without the video ref

How is the video ref any different? They still f**k up the calls they just take forever to do it. This IMO is a symptom of our reliance on the video ref anyway, having 4 officials on the field should be more than enough to get this call right but we’ve trained them to just rely on going to the video ref.

I will say that I’m not against the video ref but it’s use needs to be limited and the amount of time it wastes needs to be looked it. It hurts the game of RL so much.

The video ref issues are never (or rarely) the put-downs, it's always the obstructions or the shit that happened up the field. The video ref shouldn't be gotten rid of, it should be limited. Limited to put-downs or in-goal.

Also anyone who still thinks officials 'ruined' the nines or 'ruin' the game - after all the stuff we go through about ref abuse - go do it your f**king selves already. Big heroes you are.
