That's laughable. Their are some really slack clothes marketing people about? Surely given a rugby league world cup in this part of the world would have pre-empted a world cup themed jumper business ? I'm certain the Irish and other jumpers would have sold well given the popularity of this tournament.
Has anyone seen the supporters T shirts for sale anywhere? The ones with chevrons.

Would their have been respective participating jumpers for sale at the grounds during the group stage games?
You would have thought so, but only some, it seems.
I was at the Perth double-header a couple of weekends ago, and of Wales, Ireland, England, and France, on the English jersey was being sold. There were supporter gear for the other three nations taking place (double chevron flags, the equivalent t-shirts, hats (I think), ect) as well as generic RLWC 2017 gear, but alas, only English jerseys. Through all the looking around online that I've done in recent weeks, it seems there are only a few nations who have their jerseys for sale in Australia: Australia (obviously!), New Zealand, England, Ireland, Tonga (?), Samoa (?), and perhaps Fiji.

It's a shame, because I really think all the jerseys this time around look brilliant and I'm sure they'd sell a heap of all of them if they were readily available.

Yeah, at the games!!
I would imagine in the various sports and online shops too.

Wonder if that horizontal striped Kangaroo jumper is on the market? Got a feeling it would sell well!

I think also some responsibilty needs to go on the teams and who they choose to go with. They probably look at what they get from companies (Dollars and free kit) not what their merchnadise's availabilty or ease of ordering will be. Either the RLIF needs to do that or these nations need to look at the big picture.

I agree that the countries' governing RL bodies do need to ensure there are supporters gear available. I know a few people who have been chasing French RL jerseys for years, but seemingly they're only available in France (and online, I'm told, they only sell to French residents).

I maintain my belief that all countries' jerseys would have sold well for this RLWC had they been freely available (or indeed available at all!). I've watched every match so far (except, sadly, for last Saturday's two Quarter-Finals -the best games of the tournament seemingly!- due to my recorder deciding it didn't want to record them!), and every game, I've seen the jerseys and thought to myself 'I wouldn't mind getting one of those'! They all look so good.

I ordered one from the RLWC online shop a while ago.
Yep, it's cotton, and although the Australian Coat Of Arms (well, the supporters version of it!) is stitched on, the RLWC 2017 logo on both the chest and left sleeve are both that plastic stuck-on thing. I hate that stuff, as I know in 20yrs it will have either faded or be cracking and peeling off.
I do like the jersey though (not as much as the double gold chevron), and in the cooler weather, I look forward to actually wearing it! Summer in Australia, particularly Perth, is more sleeveless weather than thick cotton shirts with sleeves!!

The French are now selling to overseas customers. You have to contact them.

New Zealand, the country (as opposed to the League team!) has some laws against the advertising of gambling, ect. This includes jersey sponsorships for sporting teams.

You'll notice every NRL club that has a betting agency as sponsor, when they play away to the Warriors, that sponsorship changes. Melbourne alter the Crown sponsorship to that of Crown Towers (the hotel chain). Newcastle, a few years ago, had supporters send their Twitter handles in, and 17 were drawn out of a hat and the players each had a different supporter's name on their jersey. There will be other examples too, but you get the gist.

I'm curious as to why there are two or three Tongan players with the RLWC2017 sleeve logo on the opposite sleeve to everyone else in the tournament?

The logo, as well as being on the right chest, is on the left sleeve of every player's jersey in this World Cup, with most participating nations' jerseys having a sponsor on the other sleeve.
For some reason there are a couple of Tongans with the sponsor and RLWC badge being switched around to being on opposite sleeves.

Same case with France and alcohol sponsorship.

When Australia played over their whilst sponsored by VB they had the Movember logo on the front instead of VB.
