You bring Chad up in this debacle of a team and he crashes, what then? He could be ruined for good.

His development is being closely monitored by the coaching staff and they are very, very pleased with his progress. Be assured that the club has a HEAVY focus on local juniors, but you gotta know when to blood em.

NYC are running 5th and NSW Cup 1st. Its probably better for Chad to continue playing in the 20s, steer the boys to a premiership win and step up next year.

Dont forget, during that great era of junior reps for the Sharkies, the team had some success on the board before the players got graded.

I am a lifelong sharks supporter but I live out in Kellyville which makes it hard to get to many Sharks games as the drive is over an hour. So I dont really get to see the NYC unless it is on Foxtel. Who are the players that will be pushing for spots in the first grade side next year? And will they make a difference? I can't believe we have not signed a prop to cover for the loss of Snowden and Douglas. We are f**ked for next year!

Oh and here's a quote from today's tele by supercoach talking about wade and scotts kicking game:

"they can both kick the ball, they just didn't kick well today"

Great.

What did he say about anyone that played poorly in Melbourne?

So, who's 7 next week?

No newman - blokes don't get ruined for life. Look at how kelly's bounced back after being thrown into a bum team in the wrong position and then scapegoated.

If Townsend's not tough enuff to do that he'll never make anyway.

I look at these young kids getting starts at Broncs, Manly and Storm and it's no coincidence why their clubs are enthusiasitic. These young punks bring that.

Look what gards did to the team last year and Kelly this year.

Imagine being a back and running out behind Scott Porter and thinking fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuug!

Sorry newman but thats a myth.

Its obvious our season is all but over so what have we to lose?

If the kid is good enough he wont be ruined if we lose every game. If anything he will gain experience in playing firsts which will only benefit him for next year.

Look at Sandow for instance. He got thrown into a souths team that might have had a good team on paper but did nothing on the field.

Look at him now...he runs around like he owns the field

Rumour has it that Townsend is an absolute go for halfback this week in 1st grade.

I was told by someone who is not wrong often. I was told to take it as Fact.

We'll have to wait and see.

Expect more than one change.
Colin Best will miss this game.
Dean Collis wont be his replacement.

I was told a few others as well but i didn't really believe them as i posted something similar a few weeks ago and nothing happened.

But I was told with the upmost confidence that CT is playing.

dont they need to be named to take part in the match? even on an extended bench?

Ausguy, my understanding is that the 17 players listed to play 1st grade (In our case the Sharks) are posted on our change room door 1 hour before kick-off of the first grade game. That's all that matters. I remember 2 years ago that Trent Barrett was ruled out through injury during the week, but warmed up with the 1st grade squad before the scheduled game and came through the warm up okay and played. His name was shown as playing on that posted side an hour before kick-off. Someone else here may be better informed than me, so I will stand corrected.

I've never heard of having to be named? It's an hour as said. I think the punishment is a fine if you play someone not named unless an injury in the warm up
Occurs... Brian smith got done at parra I think for changing within the hour

Is Wade Graham fast enough to play as a centre? I've often thought that he may be better off moving there instead of lock.

Best out --> Bukuya to centre --> Smith to 2nd row?

Porter out --> Best in?

What else???

Phlanno... here is a tip... dont put amymore pressure on the kid... name him on tuesday and stick with it, no smoke no mirrors simplify your life and the teams stop playing games.

Ricky luetele could be in the mix from what I have been told. My source isnt the best though so no confidence in that but it does make sense. Pretty sure he is in the top 25 and has been playing well.

Luetele was 18th man on the weekend. Was in the sheds prior to kick off, did everything that the team did, until they ran out onto the field and he got changed and watched.

You are right, he could be an option.

Maybe the team lists "copy and paster" knocks off early on tuesdays. I doubt flemmo can use a computer
