Seems he underestimated the depth of the draft class and how the new rookie contract structure makes them even more attractive
Bengals will have to play some 3-4 to get the most out of him. Interested to see the amount they pay him, I have a feeling he cost himself a lot of money turning down Pittsburgh's pay cut.

Bengals and former Steelers LB James Harrison agreed to two-year deal. It was, in word of one source, a "process."
.
man those raiders really know how to wheel and deal.
who can forget all those picks and money they gave for randy moss, then watched him dog it for 2 or 3 years, then traded him away for a 4th rounder to the pats and then watched him return to superhuman wr territory.
now they gave away a 1st and 2nd rounder and mega bucks for palmer, then watched him play average for 1.5 seasons, then traded him away for a 7th rounder to the cards.
no wonder these guys are always at the bottom of the barrel.
.
Randy Moss was the best receiver in the game at that point and had been for a number of years, what, you think they could've nabbed him a with a 5th rouner?
And Moss was rarely100% at the Raiders and the whole team went downhill and Moss happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time, and the fact that in 2007 Moss producedone of the greatest ever seasons for a WR (probably the best ) at NE just shows how little idea you know on the subject.
I will agree that Palmer was an awful trade for what they gave up, and that is not in hindsight, but everyone was scratching trhere heads when the trade was made and what they gave up
Can someone please explain to me why the Jets wanted to trade Revis?
He basically is a free agent after this season if he had stayed and they would be unable to franchise him. Getting what they can while they can I think.
But why wouldn't they try and sign him long term?
