Apart from the GF when is last time?
guess we also dont need a rule to deal with a team having too many players on the field because when was the last time that happened etc etc

Bad example, as there is a rule for that.
SECTION 4, Rule 1
The game shall be played by two teams each consisting of not more than thirteen players on the field at any one time.

I won't read it and quite frankly the stupidity in this thread makes my head hurt.
I don't mind it if they give water and do a preliminary diagnosis. But I don't like it when they are coaching the players
They’ll stick their heads in the sand and wait for everybody to forget about it. Just like they do with scrums, golden point etc etc.Glad the NRL has rushed through a decision and announcement on Rapana within 48 hours of his signing while four weeks later we still haven't heard anything on this.
Referees, trainers on the field, incorrect calls being overturned mid-tackle, expansion, boosting crowds, taking back control of the scheduling and on and on and on...They’ll stick their heads in the sand and wait for everybody to forget about it. Is that you Todd? Or someone just as stupid?Because theres nothing here to worry about. A random occurrence of the ball hitting a trainer isn't going to be some catalyst for change.
With player safety and welfare at the forefront of everything a crack down on player support staff just won't happen. They're not gonna ban trainers "checking on a player's health" which is what every club's response to a "please explain" would be.
Is that you Todd? Or someone just as stupid?
but they do NOT need to be there 25 seconds after kick off for player welfare. There is literally no way to believably argue they do.
Then the trainer may as we be on the whole game.Never seen an injury from the first hit up/tackle?
