Oh yeah I get what you're saying and I agree, just couldn't help myself with the irony involved there.

After tax (although I'm sure he'd have a pretty good accountant) based on marginal tax rates alone he'd be probably on double what he would be elsewhere, 270,000 euros per week without tax is more than anyone else gets other than Eto'o and perhaps Messi (he got a massive payrise last year).

Actually that may be wrong.

Your AS article above says 10 million EUR a year whilst their twitter account says 14 million.

more like 3, they cant qualify next year for the following season if they aint in Ligue 1

They are in Ligue 1. Really they should finish 13-14 in the top 3 but I think they'll take at least a season to gel. PSG took 18 months to qualify once the Qataris came on board.

Whall, he'll still earn significantly less before tax than a lot of the PSG players. But after-tax (which is non-existent in Monaco) it'll be similar.

Monarco are sniffing around for Lloris and Ade.

Lloris is no chance but Ade I would personally pay for his air fare.

For some reason Hummels was linked to Bayern which will never happen after his father was sacked from the club and Hummels has a grudge about being sold which he has stated publicly.

BvB are apparently holding out for Shaqiri, Mandzukic or Gomez in return for Lewandowski which Bayern are not willing to do and may not sell him to Bayern which would be good news for both teams.

De Bruyne makes them hypocrites. It's well know that Leverkusen have been keen on him with the impending Schürrle exit.

Both players are quality and landing either one is a strong replacement for Götze as is Gerard Deufleu (sp?) who they were linked with but he re-signed and had a huge release cause added in. I'd like to see Eriksen in the Bundesliga at Dortmund he's quality and De Brunye at Leverkusen so that they can perform in Europe. Their problem will be replacing Lewandowski but everyone said that about Barrios and Valdez as well.

Attracting Eriksen to outside of Bayern would be good for the league that quality young talent want to enter rather than leave.

edit.

Also the Barca guy that said Hummels was their main target has said the club are no longer chasing him or Thiago Silva. The Roma defender now their priority.

Deulofeu, is a Superstar, he destroyed the same U17 i watch with Emre Can, problem is Messi and Neymar, unless they move Neymar to CF, but that kid has it all.

Eriksen to Dortmund, and De Bruyne to Lever sounds good.

Any chance you go for Suarez if you dont get Lewandowski?

I hope not. He's a very good player but he's not needed and carries far too much baggage. It seems he is going to Real Madrid though.

If I were Deulofeu I would not leave Barcelona at his age. He's 19 as well I think. Gio Dos Santos and Bojan looked unstoppable at Barca, left far too early with an amazing ego and have slowly drifted away from relevancy. Milan want none of Bojan's option fee but Arsenal and Spurs have been linked and Gio has been relegated with Mallorca after being continually loaned out by Spurs.

If they get Eriksen and Deulofeu, keep Lewandowski and hope Leitner steps up they could be in a great position next season.

Problem for Deulofeu, whos he going to replace Messi or Neymar. He should go to somewhere like Valencia :) I would love to have him there, supplying Soldado all day.

When Gio came to London all he wanted to do was party and he was a very poor trainer and turiung up late etc, which was why Harry would not pick him in the first 11, yet when the World Cups came around he played pretty well for Mexico.

I dont know if that would have happened if he stayed in Barca or not but he was his own worst enemy.

He had one good game for Barca and scored 3 goals but they didn't try very hard to hang onto him and from what I heard he had disciplinary problems there as well.

Italian press are saying that Rafa wants 30 million EUR + Torres for Cavani.

Can Torres go on the next flight to Naples?

and how did those finals go for you, he turned them into a unit that played for each other not themselves. hence this season being near unbeatable.
