Angel is one of the most under-rated players @ Real. They should've tried better to retain him. I don't want him to end up at MU... it would be the second team in a row whom I despise that he plays for. Would be happier if he ended up in the Bundesliga!

Di Maria last season: 22 starts, 10 off the bench, 7 goals, 6 assist.

There's probably a reason he's not rated as highly as you guys think he should be.

9 goals and 7 assists in a season and a bit aren't unbelievable stats for a winger who plays for Real Madrid. I'd say there's a reason they were looking at moving him on in the summer.

The most underrated player would most likely be a midfielder/defender. Just going from the PL (I don't watch enough of other leagues) players like Mertesacker, Nastasic and Evans are ridiculously underrated. Mertesacker especially, who most people would try tell you is a liability.

Are you sure those stats are right? From the top of my head i remember Di Maria making 3 assists in particular matches.

Benteke is pretty underrated in the PL.

Benteke's rated pretty highly on most forums. I remember a couple of the Arsenal forums were in favour of signing him in the summer. Most people see him as a better goal scorer as Giroud, which i'd say is true.

Looks like Morata is coming on loan to Arsenal for 6 months. Not too sure how I feel about that. Would take him a while to get adjusted to the league and before we know it we'd be sending him back to you guys. What's he like btw? I figure you'd be a decent place to start before i start trawling through youtube videos.

His release clause is 37 million Euros. But Schalke have said they'll sell him this window if someone comes in with more than that.

That's quite a bit to pay for potential. But if it came down to buying no one this window or paying 40 million for Draxler i'd pick Draxler every time. Doesn't solve our striker problem though. Unless Wenger thinks he can do a Henry/RvP with Draxler.

Schalke have already signed up Sidney Sam and it looks like they're going to get Holtby back too so they're already preparing for life without Draxler. Whether or not he moves in this window or the next is unknown though obviously.
