I'd rather we invested it elsewhere Shaw isn't any better than Van Arnholt.

Mou probably sees him as the next Cole

Dave has the right side sown up, so presumably the intention is to let Shaw make the left side his own

Doesn't hurt that he's English either...

Apparently Mata has signed with Man Utd and took a helicopter ride to Man Utd's training ground. Great signing for them but i still think it wont be enough to get them to the top.

Also Mohammad Salah has signed with Chelsea. He is a great player with a bright future ahead of him.

if his reported wages are right it f**king ridiculous, 200,000 pounds a week
It's being reported everywhere that he'll double his wage with the move. He's a fantastic player when the teams built around him and he has someone to cover his shift when not in possession. This season he's been asked to play in a well organised and high intensity side he's struggled.

He's not going to strengthen them as a unit. They'll still be exposed defensively.

Chelsea apparently have told Bayern to "name the price" for Tony Kroos. Told player "wages no problem" (via @JanAageFjortoft) #CFC #FCBayern

Agents/players are still using Chelsea interest as a tactic in contract negotiations, I see. I thought that was a thing of the past and that Man City and PSG were the new bogeymen, fits well with our new found FFP conscious attitude. As much as I'd love for it to be true.

Well on transfers alone chelsea are about £40m down. It doesn't really matter since they were given a FFP break due to "technicalities"

Maybe Hoeness should buy one of those chairs made from a black woman that Abramovich's woman loves?

Which technicalities are they?

Good idea. Maybe he could claim it back on tax.

The one where Chelsea's losses were reduced to a merkin hair below the FFP threshold because part of it was spent on charitable donations

:lol:you sound like that butt-hurt merkin Rummenigge.

The infrastructure costs, youth development costs (winning the Dutch league isn't cheap) and charitable donations clauses everyone uses? FFP compliant despite not making the CL KO stage.

Next years new Adidas deal, increased revenue for the 5th year in a row, not paying out a manager, making money on sales it all means a new financially sweet CFC. Debt free unlike a few big clubs all over Europe.

Wait, making money on sales? You're £40m down on the season. You can't count?

 yep way to miss the point. Like bayern we can afford to buy players, make money on players (sell them for more than purchased) and still live within our means. Which big club in Europe has a positive transfer budget?

Chelsea made a loss this past financial year though, a heavy loss at that. You're the one who brought up transfers not me but you only cherry picked it. You sold mata for £37m and De Bruyne for £20m. That's cool, your club still spent £90m+

Wait, you thought only last week mattered? Lol

I'm sure that Schürrle will be the next De Bruyne and you can sell him for a healthy sum and claim FFP conscious behaviour.

He is quite obviously referring to the healthy profits we made on the sale of both Kevin De Bruyne and Juan Mata

I know that's exactly what he's doing but unfortunately That doesn't work since for the entire year you are £40m down. Did you forget about the £90m+ you've spent in total? It doesn't just count for 1 selective month you know.

We've spent £84.7 million and received £56.2 million from sales. Net expenditure of £26.8 million

Very healthy indeed, given that we don't have to pay for inconvenient things like loan interest...
