I know we haven't been linked to him but I would love for Liverpool to chase Reus with the Suarez money. As long as he was keen to come (doutful) I think you could get him for 40-45 million.

I will admit though, this forum has a habit to lean toward the negative. I hear BBC and SkySports are the most reliable sources of transfer rumour news, and from what I've seen, they haven't mentioned anything about Sanchez definitely preferring Arsenal. It wasn't mentioned in a Sky headlines video, in relation to Sanchez to Liverpool (in relation to Suarez to Barca), while BBC in one recent article listed Juventus as the other interested club, not Arsenal (most likely untrue).

Regarding the media, I personally find those sources in the selling club's country to be more reliable than the buying club's media. There's no science to it though.

I was pointing out that you missed the fact that sky is also just another News Corporation subsidiary. Fox get most of their news from Sky.

Sanchez would've been good, but fair play to him if he wants to go to arsenal. Be fantastic to watch him in the EPL regardless of who he's playing for. We'll move on and go for other targets. He'll really give arsenal that bit of class their lacking up front tho.

Lovren has pissed the board of at saints by stating in an interview "my head is already at Liverpool". We also seem to having a good go for Lazar Markovic but Chelsea need to make a decision on whether they want him now, before we can sign him. Very similar to the Emre Can situation for us. We seem to have moved on from Shaqiri and gone for Markovic instead.

I think Markovic is set to join Liverpool Jack. I'm reaaaaaally pissed off about Sanchez though. It's just disappointing that we were unable to use the world's 3rd best player as as bait (which doesn't happen every day) to get Sanchez. Oh well. They better make up for it with all the Suarez money...
