Trent Barrett laughing at unconscious opponent

I hope to Christ you are not talking about his send off in 2004 against the 'Dogs which was such a bullsh*t decision he didn't even get cited for it.

Bit irrelevant but that was one of the best centre's game I'd ever seen from Tonga that night. Pity about his injuries, he's never really been able to regain his little hop step thing.

They baited Hodges all night and he fell for it hook, line and sinker. He was an angry and upset man in 2004 after what happened to him off the field and from that game on everybody had him worked out.

Crocker's try was good though

The QLD players were also angry because after Price was on his back on the ground clearly unconscious, Poore came up to him, grabbed him by the front of the shirt picked the upper half of his body up then kind of shoved him to the ground again. You couldn't see this on TV but I was at the game and had a perfect view of it.

When he seen he was hurt he tried to take his f*cking mouthguard out you wombat. What planet are you on. Inglis kneed Price in the head when he ran in on Waterhouse.

If QLD wanted it sooo bad they would have murdered use!! We had alrady won the series we played because we had too. NSW needed to win to stop themselves from the embarrasement!!

NSW's are sore losers - i live in NSW i see the evidence every day

Who is we?? You said you are not from QLD or NSW. Was there another game I missed last night.

Where in NSW you live. Up in them there hills.

yes! I saw that too. I mentioned it on twitter. hodges was so busy running round trying to be the big man and stir up a fight that no one could actually HELP steve price. god he's an idiot.

meanwhile trent barrett wasn't laughing at steve price ... everyone in nrl LOVES pricey. if it hadn't been for that knee in the tackle (dunno whether it was intentional or not) I don't think anyone would have started a fight with price, of all people.

barrett was celebrating the non-try to begin with, then he was laughing at hodges.

blame him all you want for the arm on inglis, but not for that.

No, they don't. He has the wool pulled over a lot of people's eyes, but not all.
A lot of people have not been happy with his tactics over the years.
Here's an example.

yeah I may have exggerated, but my point is he's no hodges or crocker. and he didn't have a mark on him like barrett going into the game. if it wasn't for the knee that fired white up I don't think he woulda been involved in a scuffle at all.

No he didn't (Poore). You can't see it on TV they never showed it. I was at the ground, I saw it, that story confirmed it, he lifted him up by the front of the shirt then dropped/shoved him back to the ground.

Good to see the passion on both sides of the border......Did Barrett laugh at Steve Price....the only one who knows is Barrett....Did thurston mean to kick williams in the head....only thurston knows that.....did brett white intend to smack price as hard as he could in the head....yes, as price was trying to do the same to him.....the only player last night who did anything wrong was Hodges....his actions remind me of u12s

Oh please, your example is pathetic. Last time I checked, a charge down was legal in the rules. Go and play with your Lego if you don't like the fact that in a contact sport, injuries will occur. And don't dare try and argue that he meant to cause an injury.

refer above post, I recorded the game, that did not happen, he was not lifted up by the shirt, poore had hold of him but he did not lift him of the ground, initially price was lying on his stomach. Until a player rolled him on his back, after that not one player touched Price. I understand you are a tad upset about the result, but there is no need to lie.

I was wondering about that! I watched it at my parents so I didn't record it. I really wanted to go back and see what actually happened. I believe your version more than everyone else who watched it in real time (including me)

Yep, scouts honour. I dislike Barrett as much as the next man but I just cant see him, or anyone laughing at Price. As I said no-one lifted Price off the ground and threw him back down, just didn't happen.

woah they just showed that on the news, that definitely didn't get a run on telly! That act was one of the lowest I've seen, picking up an unconscious player and just dropping him! Price was just lying on the ground unconsicous, blood dripping from his face, and Poore walks up, grabs the neck of his jersey, picks it up and just shoves him back to the ground, dead set, that's just uncalled for!

what if Steve Price didnt hit like a girl? then we wouldnt be having this conversation.

what if you had to fight him one on one, we would probably never have conversations with you ever again, probably some gutless wonder who gets his kicks acting big over the internet

Yeah I saw that at the game as well. Dog act. Hodges annoys me at times but I would have acted the same if way if someone did that to a mate. Not to mention all the others laughing and hi-5ing.
