Its sad about luch. But we may all forget Merrins hey days. When he wasnt just a average lock he was a great lock. And always finds away with 3 blokes on him and offload!!! We dont have a specialist lock so the signing makes sense. I know apprently he is yesterdays Hero in some eyes.mine tell me he will be our Hero in 2020. In his Prime the young chap!!! And we have to many backs.sorry luch. Mez can and prob will play front row and lock i assume. But then again mary might throw him in the centres

I also had a read of today’s Tele. about how the Tigers have become more professional in their approach to recruitment. In this particular case the article was about how they pulled their offer from Latrell Mitchell - where is this heading I can hear you all saying ?

Well apparently the Tigers were regarded as “ one of the superannuation clubs , but are no more “ .

I therefore wonder if the mighty St.George Illawarra joint venture are classed in that elite group of clubs who pay overs for players who are at the finishing-post end of their careers - a super club indeed we are .

You claim to be a clean skin in all ways and you love to show how others post inappropriately
I have clearly shown how you clearly state someone was talking shut and had been caught out which is clearly not the case
He just failed to answer your perfectly legitimate question which in the end frustrated you into an outburst which is so often the response you invoke from others.
The difference being you want to call them out for it so just for once acknowledge your part in the calamity instead of trying to rationalise that everyone else but you is to blame

I’m absolutely certain others can voice their own opinions and don’t need you to be the self appointed spokesman for people who don’t need one
Just admit you’re a merkin and then we can move on in the knowledge that you have finally realised what some others already know
By the way thought you should know when the grandson & I caught up with Luc at the 9’s and had s good chat with him he openly said that he wouldn’t mind playing prop and thought he might bring a bit of extra skill to the play if he did play there

Did anyone follow Merrin’s form for Leeds this year?

hiw did he go? Was he at least fit?

Merrin in form is an Origin and International and could be very good. And technically he his hitting his peak years as a prop.

Will wait to see how it all pans out before passing judgment Leilua showed glimpses when he was here, but is hardly a sure thing.

Merrin's excited because someone else was going to give him a shot back in the NRL.
But dont be fooled Merrin nearly signed for us pre June 30 last year on a small sum and we have been chasing him since he left the Pennies.
I think this is not that bad a signing (not great either) if he does not play fancy and plays straight and hard and looks to ball play through the line. he will have a point to prove.!...especially to Penrith and GUS

From what I hear he started off a bit rocky but ended really strong, strong enough to be captain..

Yeah he has but last year he played 2nd row all year and I imagine that will continue.
