We did try this last year. Chain passing between the forwards. However, it usually led to drop balls as the execution was poor.

This match, I saw RCG passing and that's rare. If he could develop that skill, we will be at a new level too. He's tall, long limbed so if he could pass more he would be at a new level. Especially close to the line with Rheed.

However, let's just hope they don't go back to tuck it under your arms and that they only did that coz it was a trial.

We have Moses and Guth with Drown hopefully coming along.
Throw in a pack with the likes of Jason Smith and Jim Dymock with some speedster sniffing around in Russell and Bailey.

Hopefully, we have much more attacking arsenal.

Yeah we tried it in patches last year, but as most would know if you don't train for it in the offseason then don't expect to be great or even good at a totally different way of approaching the game and mentality. Also maybe the teaches(coaches) we had in previous seasons weren't up to it in regards to this type of subtle forward play. But if we have indeed focused on forwards passing and footwork before the line and having many players in motion with decoys constantly spreading the defensive line then we will be a true contender and I don't expect to see the mistakes that we saw last year when we tried to expand our game.

Yes lets hope they don't regress under pressure.

Revisionism and guesswork? Stick it hoax. Do a few searches and you will see this has been my bugbear forever about our one dimensional team.

Clowndick.
Sure I’ll get onto that once I verify it was all Ennis’ genius that got us playing so “differently” to how we did last year

Maybe it was Mary. Maybe it was BA. Maybe it was cause we had all the ball and Penrith ran out a 2nds side.
Precisely… guesswork. Maybe it was because it was raining. Or because we played on a Saturday afternoon. Maybe having a womens team changed something.

To say it was Ennis is just silly. Unless you where there and knew for fact.
