Its tough for sure. Rheed was outstanding. I saw a couple of subtleties hes added to his game probably courtesy of Ennis or maybe just self development. If, and its a significant if, he stays fit, he will be missed enormously by our club. I dont see The Pom being in his class. Ice will also be missed but Rheeds contribution is Moses, Gutho, Drown like. Very hard to replace. Do I need to say "in my opinion?"

We will be fine. The merkins that line up this year will be good and the ones in the years after will do a job as well. We are a quality club these days.

I won't blow my load over a game against an uninterested and undermanned Panthers though. Watched it again tonight and they were complete cougar plop.

If somehow we pulled the premiership from our collective ass this season, the figurative collective would take the GF presentation stage and thank the players for playing so well, thank the trainers for preparing the players, thank the ball kids, thank the club office schleppers, probably thank themselves for being so supportive and thank Michael Ennis for completely changing the team in just a couple of weeks.

Once we lose a game his chin will be in the firing line.

Listening to the Boom Rookies podcast, they reckon that Dylbags to centre was a trial to move Waqa to the wing if Russell / Simonsson combo doesn't get us bending the line out of our own end.

That's what I thought too. It's great that Drown can play centre but we have a few options if we need to replace a centre during the season. Opacic is a no-brainer, plus Niukore is at least a backup option with first grade experience. But with Dunster and Sivo unavailable what do we do if we lose another winger? Simonsson and Russell are already going to struggle to get us out of our end. Waqa Blake at least solves that problem. He's the same size as Simonsson but his carries are far stronger. Otherwise the remaining winger in our top 30 is Naiduki. Dude can carry the ball but looks like he is a long way from not being a liability in first grade.

Marata is a good tackler, he got shown up with his lateral movement against the dragons Feagai.

If you could guarantee the opposition to run straight at them you could just stick front rowers out in the centres. They would make their one-on-one tackles no problems.

So the way I see it we could leave Dylan at 6 and bring in Opacic OR shift Dylan and bring in Jake.
