Parra have fielded a B grade team....however they should win very comfortably.

Apart from wise there back 5 is pretty much the side i expect to take the field this year....Dykes will move to 5/8 during the game with Thorman to half.

Parra's forward pack apart from Vella, Cayless & Morris is C grade material with young guns in Tslsous, Armit getting saved for the time being.

Apart from Hindmarsh im surprised that Muckett, Muspratt weren't given a shot first up??

Parra are saving there firepower for the Warriors, the Warrors with be the real test to see if Parra can match it with the top teams interms of forward strength this season. Also, Hopkins is by far not C grade material.

I think the Shark will be a challenge also, in a different sence. They have plenty of speed which will test Parra in a different way comparied to the Warriors.

Obvious what Smith is doing to his squad. I reckon he must have added damn near 200kg to the team.

There is much more size to come, man mountains such as Aaron Cannings (118kg), Justin Tsoulos (117kg), Chris Armit (108kg) and Nathan Hindmarsh (106kg) still to come. Also keeping in mind Tsoulos (19 y.o) and Armit (20 y.o) are the best forwards to come out of Parramatta since Nathan Hindmarsh and Nathan Cayless. They both have very promising futures.

It is hardly a b grade team. It is missing 3 or so top players.. Big deal so are we.

It should be a cracker on paper though.

Michael witt has great potential....just give him time he's only 19.

And we have to wait & see how Thorman adapts to the NRL.....could be a star or Flop?

I think Thorman will step up for you guys. Every time I saw him play last year i thought he had little something about him that could see him develop into a top player. He's still a bit raw, so may take a while, but I think he could be a top player.

I think we'll win the trial though.

Besides Lyon , the backline looks pretty average. Id expect a pretty average year for the squeels.

Given enough space the Parramatta backline will put plenty of points on you. Out of the 14 tries Parra scored against the sharks in round 24, 10 of those tries came from players in the backline and i rate this Parramatta backline better than the one playing in round 24. I doubt your Rookie centres are going to be able to stand up to our powerful, strong international centres. Put Grothe one on one with Merritt or Rieck and Grothe will beat which everone of them everytime.

plus, i like the Sharks. I cant wait for this match, i hope we both get up and into the top 8. I cant stand teams like the Bulldogs and roosters being successful.

It's Gold Ron, Gold

Hopefully Thorman develop into first grader so we can getr rid of Dykes. His crabbing runs starve our backline.
