Encouraging display.

You wont score those tries against the roosters, their wingers can tackle.

But never in doubt looked the better team.

RTS is world class.

I actually reckon CHT looked better than Keighran.

7. Green
6. CHT

I reckon that will be a good combo to go with as CHT is the sugar to Greens spice imo.

Keighran is good too but is too similar to Green imo. Either way it's good to see the rookies having a red hot crack

I like the look of CHT but he’s raw and would be worried about chucking him in the deep end. But I can see him being there by the business end of the season.

CHT really needs to learn defence before he’s an option for first grade. But he’s just a kid so he has time. In no way shape or form though does he get a spot ahead of Keighran

Positives....

Blake was controlling the game well and made life easier for Keighran
Burr looks a good buy
Lisone I thought was very impressive
Back three typically industrious and effective
Roache was very good and has that nip back after a long lay off
Defence was good until the reggies played out the last 10
Papali’i and Harris were excellent

I thought the Tigers were atrocious. I know Mark Geyer has us marked down for the wooden spoon but if that is an indication of how the Tigers will go they are in for a long year. Brooks was very good, Matulino ran hard twice for the first time in three years, Reynolds is the biggest glory hunter in the NRL and an absolute fraud. Garner looks a good player

Maumalo will be washing SK car to get Hiku as his centre.

But amazed to see a pass from Kata on highlights reel for a try.

Lol anyone read Kearneys comments on Keighran? He gave it to him for how badly he started the preseason.

What did he do wrong? He was making 10m each time and on a couple of sets took two carries.
Took a couple of shit runs early on which was when I posted it. In hindsight I probably went off too early on him. He did improve

The Warriors will be very tough for any team to beat this year simply because of how big the boys are. Warriors clearly decided if we have no real advantage in the halves lets just make a massive forward pack so anybody who wears the jersey gets a pretty comfortable ride. Against the storm and the tigers we looked the much bigger team and both the storm and tigers really struggled to match us in the middle. Then the nightmare takes over with kata, maumalo and fusitua carting it up.

I have Warriors in the top 6.

Not impress by CHT. He doesnt look NRL ready to me.

Lisone looks primed for a very big year. He looks big and powerful and will likely be a major weapon off the bench.

Burr looks an upgrade on Mannering. He runs very fast at the line and targets holes.

I've been a critic of Lisone's for a few years now, but if he's beefed up (always thought he was too small) and cuts the dumb shit out, id be interested to see how he goes.

The bench is looking like a bit of a nightmare for SK when Luke is available.

Roache
Tevaga
Bunty
Lisone
Satae
Burr

He didn't do anything wrong , had a few good runs and it looks like he knows how to pass to the winger on that side of the field after drawing in defenders. I'm not sure if it was the player of the same name we had on the paddock last year.
i only caught the highlights but the first pass to Fus was a cutout ( kata didnt touch it) and the other pass went behind fus and he had to reach back and grab it. I will need a couple more games to decide if Kata can pass at NRL level or not.

Early days for sure and my attitude could change in the blink of an eye , but to me it looked like he had been taught the concept of team work in the off season
