I'll repeat, you're making a number of assumptions without knowing the case information. Suggest you tread carefully.

I think @SBD82 has summed up the rest.

I know as much as you.

When he gets released tomorrow you will see.

Then you and your friend can ask whether or not I was right or just an mra or another insulting description.

Don’t be rude to people on your forum that disagree with you.

Exhibit1 and 2 : the snake then the Josh Reynolds.

Both charged and then the cases dismissed.

Police do all their investigations and charge people and they get it wrong. That’s my point.

It’s far more dangerous to assume the police are right all the time than to have them prove their case beyond a reasonable doubt which they are required to do in order to get a conviction.

I suppose Cardinal Pell is a more famous example. At the end of the day, whatever anyone thinks, the system said he was not guilty.

I hope the kid is innocent, but I don’t know. But I’m not willing to infer guilt until the process has run its course. Same with Sam and Jenko.

If he’s granted bail by a magistrate it will hardly vindicate you.

It certainly won’t change the fact that you know f**k all about the bail act.

Ohhhh, because Josh Reynolds' case was trumped up, we should definitely assume no player will ever be correctly accused of sexual assault again. Mmmm yeah ok good one.

I just can't fathom how we're in a world where the default position of people is to blindly defend somebody accused of sexual assault.

Not saying condemn the accused to hell. Not saying they're guilty now. But if you consider the fact they've been charged with a serious crime - the overwhelming majority of the time, it's because there's a basis. Assuming the "police have it wrong" simply because they've had it wrong before and it suits your position to assume that's the case here? C'mon.

Sexual assault victims find it incredibly difficult to speak up, much less go to authorities with their story, because of this kind of rubbish. Your (unsourced) 92-8 stat doesn't account for the thousands and thousands of unreported sexual assaults, but I'm guessing that's not particularly convenient to your position either.

There is definitely a pattern of false allegations being prosecuted by NSW police against NRl players. Its not just one and its completely childish on your part to suggest that.

Very poorly argued, makes a number of false assumptions, misrepresents my points. I can get you the stat no worries. More intolerance as your punchline is not very enlightened.

Do I expect you to discuss the issues properly?, you sound a bit hysterical about it, so I’m wondering if it’s worth It tbh.

Brett Stewart, SKD, Reynolds.. probably others..

The issue is Sailor's name was made public. As we have seen with Hayne, JDB it can be a slow process.

You have someone that won't be hired in any field until the case is sorted. That is why it is good he is getting the help.

If found guilty deserves everything that comes his way... But are a long way from that

Yes or no is it innocent until proven guilty?

Until he is found guilty in court the that changes it

Nice to see read you here, but these people seem to be intent in lynching and judging people. Sad and regrettable very short sighted.

The good thing is the alleged victims are in a free society where they can report it. The better thing is the accused can fight it... I don't judge until it plays out in court

Agreed and you were right earlier. The accused name should be withheld from the press. Or if not (due to "open court") then it should all be "open court" stop suppressing the complainants name.

That is what irritates me. Until it is proven it is no ones business what x person is accused of
