Dumb merkin kept driving after it was already going horribly wrong. It’s almost funny how bad it was (no injury thank dark).

We lose tbat game if it continues to be a tough grind. We don’t do tough grinds. He turned it into easy mode.

The send off made things easier but their big guys were already tiring as witnessed by the Jack Williams try. I still think we would have won it but by a smaller margin.

Williams played well, and moved really well for the try he scored, but wasn't he the other guy besides Brailey for the terrible miss on Wighton?

I can always forgive a missed tackle.

When you add a penality, a dropped ball, some other wierd error, and doing pretty much nothing else, Williams normal game, I have a problem.

I thought Jack hit well, poked his nose through the line, so I give credit. Bad missed tackle against simple strong running Jack, if that is it, I forgive.

Seemed to be a fatigue issue.

Yeah Brailey will miss, they all run at him, still yet to see one bopper read this and pound the ribs from the side....but I am patient..Jack like 10 decent games in how many?

Hope he keeps it up. Does draw a penalty too. The other team likes to hold him down.

No he did not, that was the point, normally you can. Hence I gave him a 2 points, Learn to read.

This is my problem with the modern game.
It seems full of big, strong dudes with the skill levels of a block of granite.

For mine, it can be traced back to Opes and his “give me a prop, a halfback and 11 athletes”.

Suddenly everyone’s playing flat and using strength to get over the advantage line and look for a quick play the ball.

Then comes the wrestle to try and counter that.

Next thing, everyone’s concentrating on strength and power to the detriment of skill and finesse.

Then when someone like Ponga or Walsh comes along everyone flips out because they’ve never seen a sidestep.
