Like all things in life, they come to an end. The time has come for Moffo to move on to the next stage of his life
Moffo began his league community life back in the heedy days of the mid 90s when life was fast and ET was a household name in Shanghai
Moffo quickly found a community that valued opinions, had a good sense of banter and took early online communities to the next level via Tuesday night chat sessions. Whilst everyone had their opinions, everyone was respected and generally liked. Moffo was also a troll, some would say one of the founding fathers. His banning from big footy for organising league crusades was really the building block for much of the cross code conflict that we see online today
The move across to LU really took the group to the next level. The collapse of the disfunctional rleague site was a blessing for the team, and allowed them to grow exponentially. The site is now the largest league community online
It would be easy to focus on individuals and be negative, but Moffo would like to express the happiness that the last 15 years has given him via these groups. The laughs, sharp wit and intelligent folk have been a big part of his online life.
That said, all good things must end. Life can be a weird and wonderful journey, and Moffo is excited by what lies ahead.
I genuinely hope that the future holds bright prospects for all of you, irrespective of what you do
