racial slurs from behind a fence.

Well if there were any racial slurs I apologise on behalf of all dragon's fans but the reaction of some of your players & officials is very childish. Something you would expect from 13 year old school kids.

The Dragons...too focuses on choking again. You'll most probably lose the preliminary final but if you do make it to the big one it'll be all the more funnier watching you lose big time.

Considering Dragons fans are a pack of merkins from the ghettos, you have no moral high ground to complain about. I hope they did squirt you with those destructive water bottles because you deserve it; and it's a shame Hutch didn't give someone brain damage.

I don't think you can catch brain damage.

I wont be sending any emails to john brady General but thanks for the advice. For the record, I agree that its silly for any trainer or official to react in any fashion to fans and their jibes. The thing that bothers me about that dragonn fans report, email, whatever it is, is that they claim Dr Malouf went off at them in an angry and abusive manner. I can only say that, I have never heard Dr malouf mouth an angry, derogatory or a bad word about ANYONE since ive known him as part of the club , over 10 years. THat includes dragons, eels, manly fans etc etc .

I think , if what you say is true and Doc went off, then I would back his judgement that whatever incited him was pretty dispicable.

I saw and heard first hand the racial abuse from the dragon fans in the tunnel, if getting squirted with water justifies that in their minds, then I think that's pretty sad.

But again, I must agree with the dragon fans that the officials and players should never react to crowds in the first palce.

Well beekershark I am somewhat taken by surprise by your agreement in-part which leads me to believe that I have from the outset of my travels stumbled into the path of the wisest and fairest Shark in the sea. I am pleased to meet you.

Firstly wanted to say that I did not venture to the player tunnel so I can't say what did or didn't occur down there but most reports are on par with what's in here although I don't know about racial slurs. At 3/10 games at WIN, fans will get to the cage to vent steam for one reason or another. Could be an onfield incident that inspires it. Who knows these things. If you had the same facility you guys would find a way to put it to good use I'm sure. Squirting red cordial at the opposition supporters certainly doesn't help, you would have to admit, but that incident didn't incite anything apart from shock that the jerk had the hide to do it. It was just one of several things they did that just isn't the norm, and is very provocative to do at a football match - let alone one with a record crowd sitting behind the fence. Perhaps it could be considered that the trainers were the ones who were useing the fence as a cage and they were poking a stick through the wire at us. Whatever.

Next let's describe WIN. Your squad was always going to be blown away by the atmosphere down there when they hit the field. We knew it because we've rehearsed it many times. At WIN the sideline is barely 5m from the front row. Shark Park is close too but perhaps twice the distance. With only 5m seperating a record crowd from the touchy it was always going to be right up in your face stuff. Your bench had to operate under these conditions. Your trainers and bench were perhaps 1m from a record crowd.

I can tell you that nothing was cast, and nothing was said to or about any trainer or any player on your bench. I know we were all at full volume and at times we said stuff about your team exactly as you would ours but it wasn't for your bench's sole benefit and I can assure you that the crowd noise was so loud that it was drowning out any hope of communications the trainers had with the coach and because I was closest and I could be heard the loudest I guess your trainers decided that I should be the one to be made to pay for the loss but unfortunately out of all the 19,608 people in attendance I can assure you that they made the unfortunate mistake of selecting me. Way too much support.

However I think if you have read my 'other' post (which had no valid reason to falsely represent events) you will perhaps appreciate that immediately after the game the Sharks and their official entourage did not do themselves any favours by choosing to interchange unpleasantries with the crowd. I believe this was all started by your trainer who called out to me and once he had my attention he said he wanted to fight me and was offering to wait for me outside. I didn't look at or saying anything to the guy all night so it was shocking to say the least. That one solitary act had many Saints fans turn their attention from their own team and focus it onto yours with many springing to their feet in disgust and in a rally of support. Your trainer turned my attention and that of every other fan in close proximity to the field-side of the players tunnel where your blokes were milling, from our team doing their lap and onto yours. Ludicrous, incitement, highly provocative, mental...all spring to mind. He deserves a huge holiday.

I would go as far as to say that your trainers do not have the mental toughness required for finals football because they obviously lost concentration at vital parts of the game and they may well have contributed to your loss.

I'm not 100% sure if it was Dr.Peter. I don't know what he looks like. This guy was weraing a Sharks tracksuit. He was about average height, a little overweight perhaps, thinning on top, dark hair, european appearance, psychotic.

I am happy to expand or answer questions so we may be able to come up with who was at fault here. Me or you ;-).

Just wanted to add that despite all that happened and perhaps why I wasn't at the cage was that I was one of many many Saints fans who stayed where and clapped the Sharks players from the field. I even yelled out an "Onya Peachey" to thank him for the many memories. PB.

Just to clear something up.

The trainer who squirted red cordial into the crowd did so at about the 20 minute mark and that as I said before, nothing was said directly to your bench or about your bench or trainers.

Everything that was being shouted was exaclty the reciprocal of what you would have been shouting at us only with the names changed.

Again the trainer who wanted to fight me was at about 2 minutes after the siren and we hadn't paid you guys any attention whatsoever up until that point.

Both incidents set a dangerous precedence and I reckon it warrants investigation.

If something was thrown then that's another matter but nothing was thrown.

Otherwise nothing should distract a trainer from his duties.

I did keep yelling out "Go Engadine" everytime Besty touched the ball and he did score 2 tries. Of course Colin is an Engadine junior and he played many games against the Black Cats ;-).

I don't think the trainers liked that one .

The one who wanted a bluey was a...you guessed it, a red head.

He looks like a miniature Danny Weidler only with a funnier, stumpier looking body ;-).

He wears the fluoro green shirt. The squirter wears the blue shirt (quirk of fate) and has brown hair. The squirter didn't say anything to anyone.

Biff 'n Squirt.
