It's guru's for me. For him to outrun Singh and Bowen, 90 metres down the sideline was amazing to watch

I'm an Eels fan so it may seem biased...

But damn that Grothe try was brilliant...Still replaying it in my head over and over...

How the hell isn't he playing more rep footy? lol

I have to vote for the Grothe, anyone weighing around 100kg that can outpace Sing and Bowen like he did was just amazing. A great try all round.
( So looking at the above post, I must be an idiot )

Exactly, I remember being at Cumberland oval when I was a young whipper snapper, with my father who was a huge parra fan for a long time. I think it was 1980, game against the Bulldogs, pissing down rain and the guru went the full length of the field to score, ill never forget that try.

Minichello's for sure. Anyone who says otherwise either didn't watch it or is an idiot.

Quoted for truth.

An incredible offload, razzle dazzle pass, and bullet pass to a storming support player trumps a "stop and go" move any day of the week.

Unfortunately all this poll seems to show is how many parra fans are on this site  :p

How was Eric Grothe's any different to Manu Vatuvai's?

Answer - IT WASN'T. They were both very similar tries.

Minichello's try was the best of round 4 by a mile.

The only difference is that Vatuvai doesn't have a famous father who played the same position that 18 year old Eels fans can say "he reminds me of his dad" about.

The difference is Grothe stood-up one of the best wingers (Matt Sing) in the game.

Grothe for mine.

Eric snr would have run straight over the top of Sing....still it waS a very good move.

But the Roosrer try was the best of the round IMO.

Grothe's try was a great individual effort, but I just can't go past Minichiello's for this week. An incredible try to watch - magic rugby league.

Grothe for mine (but I didn't see Mini's)

Guru's try is the best I've seen for a while.... Most tries Guru scores are usually spectacular

BTW EG Junior could have run over Sing, but used his brain which was tops

It's not just Eels fan saying that Grothe's try was brilliant.

I saw Minichiello's try - fantastic football.

But the thing about Eric's try was that he out-ran BOTH Sing and Matty Bowen AND scored between the sticks after racing 80 metres down the sideline...Exhilirating stuff...
