Just watching NRL 360 and they have revealed Greg Inglis has gone into a mental health facility.

Paul Kent said I knew about this last week but I didn't want to say anything because it's a very sensitive issue and I didn't want to make a story about his personal mental health issue. He needs to be left alone. Pretty much something along those lines.

That's fine I respect that.

But wow what about the hypocrisy of the merkin. It is well documented that Andrew Fifita has had mental health issues but it hasn't stopped the merkin constantly bring up the issue from last year with his arm band even though everyone bar him have moved on. Andrew hasn't even farted this year but oh no Paul merkin wants an apology. It's unfinished business apparently.

Kent was the only so called journalist who picked the Sharks to win the comp apart from Rothfield, but having said that isn't right on a lot of other things about the game.

He's got little man syndrome and a pretty healthy opinion of himself that not many others share.
Not happy unless he's having a whinge about something.

My guess is he knew nothing of the Inglis issue and I think he had to bullshit it so he didn't look

The NRL has no testicles, they need to be like NFL, and AFL they give accreditation to journos, but if they start themselves bringing game down they lose this, which halts there access, NRL either needs to do this or if they have start pulling the accreditation on these guys, which make it much harder for them to write stories

The NRL can't and won't do that because the majority of the journalist are also connected to a publisher or media company.

If they try to control what they say or dictate terms, the publishers just stop promoting the game to drive ticket sales and potentially run a few more potentially disastrous stories that I am sure they have stored away.

It's a tit for tat no doubt.

The stuff you all get worked up about are just opinion pieces, means nothing.
