Tyrell is an Eels junior, not Panthers. Cut loose because he couldn't defend and refused or was unable to learn.

Powerful ball runner, but a bit small for the back row where his game is most suited. Thinks he's a centre but gets absolutely slaughtered out there in defence.

Certainly won't be replacing Lafai or Aitken unless you have dramas with injury

He says Panthers was his local team. Wikipedia says that junior club is listed as St Marys and went to Patrician Brothers Blacktown. Noted that he played for Parra in the U20s obviously.

Thanks for the info otherwise. Sounds like a shitter version of Aitken. I'd be surprised to see him get much game time. Will be interesting to see how he plays in any case.

He's got talent but he doesn't seem to want to to the work he needs to realise it.

On the plus side, you might get his crazy uncle dropping by LU. Especially if you criticise Tyrell in any way.

That's a lot of fun

His first user name on here was ScoopDog or something similar

But I think he lurks as someone else now, he occasionally goes off on a rant about how we all hate his nephew who's actually a superstar on another Eels forum page lol

I watched a little of his play in the 9’s

the comments on defence and shirt grabbing rung true unfortunately, but I also saw some good highlights etc. Presumably a cheap price to fill out the 30, and the chance to work really hard and make an impact... otherwise he sits in cc. It’s probably his last chance to make it, and maybe guys like Flanagan and Graham can retrain the Brian and we end up with a real weapon? Worth a punt and can fill in when needed.

Williame from the Catalans looks a way better option though

All good mate.
QPR are actually a soccer team.
The poms call it football and so have l but people often refer to football as rugby league.

As you say, the quality of the games are exceptional, even in the secondary league, the Championship, which QPR are in.

sorry OKB, I’m very new to watching soccer, and get mixed up with the different comps. I could never see the attraction but I started to get an understanding (mostly because the only other channels were basket ball or ice hockey) as you say some of those overseas teams are exceptionally talented

Snow Dragon said; “ Williams from the Catalans looks a way better option though”

Maybe so but after listening to the concerns over Fuimano’s defensive woes I checked Williame’s stats from last season, scored 10 try’s and had very big running metres But and there’s always a but, he to appears to have defensive issues -, 68:missed tackles in 25 games last year ( the third worst defender in the team). With Hunt being having missed 98 and right up their with the most missed tackles, Aitken and Lafai not great either it’s a good thing flanno’s arrived.

Methinkin Flanagan will have his work cut out, but he already seems to have his finger on the pulse and made a few comments I took from his interview today give me hope.

The 54-year-old said strengthening the Dragons' defence after they leaked the second most points in the league last season was one of his main objectives.

He said; “ I’m confident you’ll see a different defensive out fit this year.

He also said; “ If the outside backs have a good year the dragons will have a good year.”

Cronulla were renowned for their tenacity and grit under Flanagan's watch and he intends to ingrain the same aggressive defensive mentality into the Red V.

Looks like he’s wearing red & white to me..

Not to mention the multiple Dragons emblems everywhere..

Is this your hissyfit over the small patch of black on the cap?

Everywhere? I see the Dragons’ emblem twice only on the player.

(More hyperbole from you)

The cap is half black (not to mention from 2019).

(More BS from you)

Should’ve gone to SpecSavers.

Hissy fit? Not from me there’s not.

(Yet another example of yourself creating a diversion away from your general lack of comprehension...a point which has been noted by others)

If he is selected in first grade, I believe it will be as a centre. Unliess there is a big injury toll in the backrow, he just would not compete with our current backrow forwards.

Well that’s a tantrum and a half.

Here’s the pic in question:
remote.axd

7 dragons emblems in the picture.

As an estimate I’d say 80% of all colour in the pic is red & white.

But yes, somehow because of a bit of black on his cap he looks like he’s “playing for norths”.

Out of curiosity, what colour is St George & his horse on our emblem?

If you can’t see on one of the many emblems in that picture, here’s a bigger one:

Damn that St George guy & his horse.. They look like they belong over the harbour bridge..

Oh so, it’s gone from “half the cap’s black” to only “a bit”.

I know staying on the one tangent is near impossible for you, but please try with some effort.

Now remind me, what has been St. George’s official colours since 1921?

There’s no mention of black.

Simple.

You’re pigeoning again Jimmy..

You mentioned the half cap, not me.

There’s no way any logical person could look at that picture and say it looks like he’s signed with North Sydney.

You probably also don’t realise that in the early days, St George played with black shorts & black socks, giving them a red, white and black uniform. The white shorts & socks occurred later.

Anyway, the chessboard is yours to continue shitting on..

Ha....you originally referred to as a “small patch”; in reality it’s half of the bloody thing.

You continue to live in a whimsical, fairyland of denial.
