That’s really not the issue here thou. The players liked other guys who’ve left, too. I’m sure they’ll get over it.
The issue is whether his conduct is deemed worthy of his contract with us being terminated.
The outcome will be interesting.

That's his claim. Yes. But it's not straight forward at all. I think it's far more probable it was in reference to his court case. We're both biased Panthers fans with different opinions on what he was trying to say. So clearly there's nothing straight forward about it.So the post was about life's knocks...Seemed straight forward to me

He has previously lied to try avoiding punishment. As have many others aswell... it's common for people to lie or bend the truth to avoid punishment. His history of bending the truth counts against him herr
What we think is irrelevant though. It's up to him to convince our club to keep him. He has the backing of the coach and our star player and captain. So his odds are better than any other player would be in this situation.
At the very least he deserves to be dealt with fairly and impartially regardless of ones personal opinion of him as a person or as a footy player.
He will be fine. That’s really not the issue here thou.

I think everyone from the club, players and our fans understands what he did resulting in his criminal conviction was wrong. If the players can’t understand that a serious conviction has led us to this point, then we’ve got a real problem.
He was suspended because he backed up Nathan's story, which wasn't entirely truthful. Nothing more, nothing less. NRL enquiries are kangaroo courts, Sam Burgess was right and knew exactly what he was saying. He was involved! The NRL inquiry established that. Your argument is absurd.
That is the impressive part for me that the club hasn't reacted without getting all the information
Sadly I don’t think your opening line is true. I suspect some of the players didn’t think it was a big deal.I think everyone from the club, players and our fans understands what he did resulting in his criminal conviction was wrong.
No one condones or defends such actions, but they were lesser offences able to be dealt with by a Magistrate in the local court. The upper end of the severity of criminality is dealt with by a higher court, District Court to start with. His offences weren’t at that level even if abhorrent In the court of public opinion.
Of course they do. But how long do you continue to persecute a person just to placate the witch hunters?I think everyone from the club, players and our fans understands what he did resulting in his criminal conviction was wrong.
In his first podcast of 2019, Phil Gould expressed astonishment at just how widespread the practice of using a phone to film one's sex acts was, not just in NRL players, but in young people generally. And a fair percentage of them end up on Pornhub or such places. The trick is not to let that happen if you have a recognisable head.Sadly I don’t think your opening line is true. I suspect some of the players didn’t think it was a big deal.
Yet they allowed the first grade head coach to appear in court for him.He got loyalty from Penrith when most clubs would have sacked him on the spot. Since then we've had tik tok and now this.
I think its time for him to go.
What about what Api did?Sadly I don’t think your opening line is true. I suspect some of the players didn’t think it was a big deal.
Yet they allowed the first grade head coach to appear in court for him.
I think it means, like you said, the club was supporting him.I'm not sure what that means.
Filming ones sexual exploits is common place in today’s world. Not just restricted to the younger generation either. It’s just the world we live in, in most instances such activity is consensual. In his first podcast of 2019, Phil Gould expressed astonishment at just how widespread the practice of using a phone to film one's sex acts was, not just in NRL players, but in young people generally.
