Adrian Purtell. During those years I used to sit in the 'black hole' at Penrith stadium. I swear that poor bloke only ever had 1 fan. This fan called himself 'Strawberry Blonde'

Great days. Loads of fun.
Dan is a great guy a real talent spotter and good friend a man still ahead of his times but Purcell had nothing on worth for what he coped

The citations arriving for those who fought bravely in the Battle of Tyrone and spoke up for the victim and defending the vulnerable.

The Panther LU awards for posters of high calibre and character.

@Smug Panther
Fought fiercely and refused to abandon his posts. Promoted to Social Influencer first class. One of the new breed of superstar posters on Lu.

@herbert henry1908
A brilliant commander in the field, rallied the troops on May Day. Added significant weight to the arguments to dispense with him. 5 paw effort. A leader.

@DinkyDi
Swept aside all influences and took on all comers. Focused, caring and compassionate, Janeys troops report she can be brutal, but they refuse to serve under anyone else.

Nothing is too good for this lot, even if they hate my guts. I’m proud of them. It was an honour and a privilege to serve with them.

to be continued….

The ribbing Franze copped in the old Panthers Interactive forums got so bad that Rob Weaver had to step in and try to put a stop to it.

From memory, he said that word got back to Franze about the forum
Thats 100.

When he upped and left for Harlequins we all got the blame and Weaves went for a guilt complex thing.

He came to the Panthers and nobody disliked him or anything, but it’s like he got stage fright all the time and the poor kid got worse.

Just one of those things. Just seemed perpetually traumatised playing footy.

I blame ME myself for killing his game.

ME was a terrible coach and you wont find me defending him often, but I cant blame him for Franze and his lack of passing when he was still coaching the Raiders in 2005. By the time he made his way up the Hume Paul was off playing Union.

Like Campbell-Gillard, Franze showed his capability in his last game for the club, a flogging of the eventual premiers.

Im sorry and stand corrected Socky.

But I remember MEs first interaction with the President at the acqua golf.

And bringing Adamson back after his alleged Roycey treachery.

The writing was on the wall

You see here is the problem, you know half of nothing about the Panthers and try to act like some kind of subject matter expert .

I was at a stage of my life when things were pretty tough.

Just had to retire because of ill health, had older brother die from cancer.

So enjoyed the fun and laughs in ye old back hole.

Yeah some good times in the late 00s / early 10s even when the team itself was shit on the field.

That night we smashed the Bunnies in 2010 with the full brass band was one of the best ever experiences.
