I pretty much disagree with everything said in the opening post.
Matt Gidley is a wonderful defender in every position - but he has been outstanding in defence at fullback for the last two weeks. His only real blemish has been dropping a few high balls and badly judging a few balls rolling into touch. The internet myth that the Gidleys are bad defenders has won us a lot of games over the years as coaches fall for it, but unfortunately not many coaches are silly enough to fall for it more than a few times.
Hindmarsh is the only forward you have that we 'fear'. He had a wonderful game against us last time.
John Morris is like Kimmorley and Hill and Craigie and all those other ex-Knight playmakers who really fire up against us. He usually has a wonderful game at Marathon.
The Knights really need this win to stay in touch with the top sides, but Parra will fire up, because they always do against us. It will be a good game and will be a character building game for our young forwards who must aim up to take the points.
As usual this season, Buderus will lead the way for the Knights. He is in the best form of his career. His 'average' effort last week was due to backing up after giving his all in SOO.
