Oake, Lowrie, Smith, Hauraki..

I miss Glenn Morrison, Ian Hindmarsh and Chad Robinson.. Even Henry Perenara was a better player then the nuffies we currently have.

As do I Phillips, as do I....

The thing about them was they were aggressive, could tackle, could make metres, could offload and could go through holes in the defence.

Something the players who now succeed them can not do or do ineffectively.

Directed more so at "the three" than Ben Smith. Infact I think that's what I'll call them for now on haha the three...the three names I dread to see in the first grade team each week.

2 things.. and I'll probably get bagged for my 2nd point but whatever..

1. Where is James Mortimer?? Haven't seem him for a few weeks and I don't recall anyone saying he's injured

2. I know Inu got dropped and don't get me wrong I love Ets and am SO excited to see him debut but Nicho didn't go so bad on the weekend, why was he the one to be dropped to the bench..

Putting Inu on the bench coulda been a real kick up the backside!!

Broderick Wright has not be named for Wenty, did he get injured? or am I sensing some BS style changes before the game on Friday night?

Broddy's in a boot atm :( Not too sure the time frame on this injury. He's been hanging around the Leagues Club politics me thinks, I asked the question and he avoided the answer :lol::lol:

Why is Tautai back when we could play Ben Smith in the centres and make way for Joey G?

Good luck to Etu though, I thought he showed a lot of promise in the WC games.

Yeah I kinda thought the same thing.
Oh well, Good Luck Etu!

I would be happy with anyone scoring atm!

Just on the team, im a big fan of INU and he deserved to be dropped. Thing is that others should of been dropped alongside him. He's been made an example of and is the scapegoat.

Just looking at the team, the backrow is a disgrace! Both smith and tood are not 1st grade standard. We will struggle.

I would ahve prefered Smith mark Hodges who is difficult to contain, at the very least I hope smith defends outside Hayne to help him with Hodges. Im not overy worried about Falou who hasnt been in the best form. Would prefer Reddy was swiched over to Falou side to atleast have a chance with the contested bombs.

And FFS what's the point of playing Robson in the 14?

I agree... what's the point of using a reserve grade quality halfback at hooker (no disrespect Robbo but you've hardle set the world on fire in the 5 years you've been impersonating an NRL player) when we have an NRL quality hooker in Kingston running around Ringrose Park on Sunday? We need defensive starch and speedy service from our hookers... and sadly Robbo brings neither to the table!

Robbo is the only hooker we have. Kingston only returns from injury this week.

Given the leap on Folau it makes you wonder if Inu should have been moved to the wing or Jono Wright guven a shot...... Etu is a competitor but about 30cm too short.

You can't pick Ben Smith in the centres - that has been clear for a few years now, and our coach took just 4 games to decide "enough is enough".

Ben Smith could be dropped from the pack to make way for Joey G - but I'd drop Lowrie, Oake or Hauraki before him (in that order) - at least Ben Smith puts a little bit of shoulder into some of his tackles.
